Yeah, QCs fault cuz they couldn't score more then 17 against the best defense in the NFL (eventhough they would of had AT LEAST 3 more points if not for that dumb call by Hackett).

he played ok, pretty typical for him...completes his first 8, mostly on safe underneath stuff then the accuracy goes away...threw a few poor balls in the 2nd half and rolled right into a couple of sacks...pretty clear he took too long on that end of the game play, then wasted a timeout (although their idiot coach was asking for a TO too)

he is what he is...mediocre starting QB but a decent backup QB...

Hey defend the guy all you want. I'm not rippin him. I'm just saying it was another typical day at his office. Whether they would've won it at the end or not.

I siimply made the comment that you rarely ever get a truly productive (not to be confused with simply not blowing it) 4 quarters out of him.

If a person thinks that 3 points in the last 35 minutes somehow counters that notion today, so be it.

I'm not defending him. I'm just pointing out the poster (you) that came in here blaming him. Hence me calling you one of the "True" haters. Anyone that watched that game knows QC didn't lose it. I'm not saying he played great. But he didn't lose the game for them.

No, that would be VINNY.

lol that' exactly what I was thinking. QC didn't move the ball as well as Vinny between the 20's so technically he can't be King. We can call him the Prince of moving the ball between the 20s though.

And one of the reasons we sucked in the redzone last year is the same reason we suck in the redzone this year, a lack of a running game.

I know he didnt *lose* the game for them, Rack. And thats kind of the funny thing about Q. For some reason thats the way he's always measured, for better or worse. It's almost as though people think that as long as he doesnt throw 3 or 4 picks he's automatically doing really good. I dont think thats true, for him or any other QB.

I didnt blame him for a thing. I never said he cost them the game. They most certainly could've won the game regardless. That wouldnt have been any shock to us. Seeing pedestrian QB play in route to a certain number of victories. Particularly against other offenses that have a hell of a time scoring more than 17 themselves.

But I think we would all agree that in our ideal world, unless we could have the Raven's '00 defense every year, it would be kind of nice to find a QB for ourselves one of these days that could actually be largely responsible for why we actually won some games here and there. Not continually hang our hat on a QB that didnt find a way to simply keep from blowing it. You'll be able to beat some patsies that way, that have even *worse* QB/offensive play.. and if you get to play an inordinate amount of those teams in the same year, you might even have a winning record. But you'll never get to the promised land that way if the rest of your team is just as mediocre.

I have no ill-will towards the kid.. I wish him well. But I would hope I dont have to apologize for being glad we didnt give him another 3 years as a starter.

And what does any of this have to do with Vinnie? Anybody ever hear me say.. thank god Vinnie is our QB!! I didnt think so. That would be as laughable as thanking god that George is our starting RB. Yeah we need to get a replacement for T-Ham. So if you're going to sign a FA (along, obviously, with drafting a rookie) lets go get the only starting RB in the league that averaged less YPC than him even tho he played with a far better cast. Mmhmm.. I'm stoked.

I wish the best for QC and nice job against a great D. I don't get to see all the cowboys games but this was a more exciting game than any boys game I have seen this year.

Yeah, but when you talk about exciting that's what it means.

Roger's last game against the Commanders where he threw 2 TD passes in the last few minutes of the game is still the best game I have ever watched.

I had ulcers but damn it was exciting.

Quincy was lights out in first half. Team never recovered from that stupid flea flicker gone Bad.

Quincy didn't get it done in 2nd half but thats a serious 3-4 defense throwing a lot at Jets.

Tough OT loss.

17 points scored sure sounds familiar.

Agreed, the flee flicker did seem like a momentum changer.

Seemed like QC was consistantly makeing the right reads against a tough D. Jets WR's dropped some not perfect but catchable balls in crucial moments.

only 2 teams have scored 17 or more against the ravens this year. One is the Chiefs, a great offensive team and the other was cleveland in that fluke win. 17 isnt horrible against the ravens, sorry

Was lights out on fire first half, that flee flicker Inter by RB changed the game.

Carter had s so/so second half but he also did not lose the game. No mistakes

"he didnt lose the game"...why is this always the best argument you Q clones have? He didnt win the game either did he? He led the Jets to one TD (the other was set up by a fumbled punt, and all Carter did then was handoff to Martin 3 times in a row)

like I said, he is what he is

We say, "he didnt lose the game" becuase people like you constantly try to put the blame on him for the loss. You prove my point, "HE DIDNT WIN THE GAME EITHER". He played good, not horrible but I guess thats not enough
