only 2 teams have scored 17 or more against the ravens this year. One is the Chiefs, a great offensive team and the other was cleveland in that fluke win. 17 isnt horrible against the ravens, sorry

I really don't care. 17 points by an offense, regardless of the defense is nothing to crow about.

When we beat Cleveland 19-12 did you hear me crowing? Nope. I said 19 points is not good enough.

yea I know that, but The browns aren't exactly the ravens either. I dont really care, I think Carter did ok, good for him (Im a carter lover since I root the best for all former cowboys.... except for hambrick ;) ). But its like here we go again with some people. I dont mean you, but I mean, their are always some people that need to find something to complain about whenever carter plays, find it too odd

"he didnt lose the game"...why is this always the best argument you Q clones have? He didnt win the game either did he? He led the Jets to one TD (the other was set up by a fumbled punt, and all Carter did then was handoff to Martin 3 times in a row)

like I said, he is what he is

David

You say you dont care about him yet you are still looking for something to complain about. Plus you make threads about carter when you say to forget about Carter, I dont get it...........

I find it just as odd that we still get thread after thread about what he is doing and how we would be better with him. Meanwhile Emmitt Smith, an honest to goodness Cowboys legend and hero barely gets a mention.

The mania over one player is disturbing. Especially since he was not all world.

I wanted him to be our QB this year over Vinny but it didn't work out that way. Pining over what he might have done is pointless. Yet we get it over an over.

I will be just as disgusted if Hutch starts and people pine away over him.

Neither were good enough. Time to move on.

I agree with that. Speaking of Emmitt, Book it, he will be back next year

I don't think there is any expression I hate more than 'he is what he is.'

For me it is "Favre magic". Damn I hate the way Fox almost goes down on him every time they visit Lambeau.

What I find comical is a Q supporter starts a thread asking for thoughts and some of us answer with the fact that it was just another typical Q type game. Nobody said it was a p*ss poor game (he wasnt 8-25 for 72 yds). Just typical... whether they happened to win at the end or not.

If somebody would've asked the same question in regards to Culpepper.. Can Culpepper bring the Vikes back? We could've answered the same way. It was another typical Culpepper game. Would you automatically assume we were ripping the guy?

Apparently Q supporters understand the bottomline or they wouldnt have such a chip on their shoulders over such simple, matter of fact comments.

QC didn't embarrass himself today. he looked okay in his first start of the season - and against a defense that makes many a QB look pedestrian. i like the guy and hope he does well wherever he goes. and i LOVE emmitt smith.
he continues to defy the odds but he was a victim of his age and cap figure.

17 points scored sure sounds familiar.

17 against the Ravens is a lot better then 3 against the Bengals. :D

Seriously though, QC played good in the second half. The Ravens made adjustments and, as usual, Hackett didn't make adjustments. He didn't play too shabby for his first time out with the Jets. I wish him well, just like I will all ex-cowboys well (unless they go to a team I hate).
