He sure looks like he's under a lot of duress when he agreed to play for the Cowboys! Poor guy! It's not just Parsons, I feel the same way about every single player that pulls this crap. This is a game. These guys are not saving the world, not inventing a cure for cancer or birth defects or ending wars. It's a game and they've perverted it into something sad.

Well in fairness no one is saving the world, curing cancer, birth defects or ending wars for that matter.

If anything, people are doing more like the opposite of that.

Perhaps it's because I'm on the east coast, I don't see per new what Dallas is doing. Thing is, Birds back up QB can't play, they acquire Howell, and the put McCord on the practice squad after they cut him. Seems like a lot of work for a QB position when they already know who is starting.

Jerry has Lance, never plays him, and the guy who fills in for Dak last year is cut this year with no real strong 2nd QB in the slot if Dak goes down.

You don't need McCord to tell the cowboys anything. Proof is in the pudding.

Didn't know this, but the guy is local to the philly area apparently. Just makes me scratch my head on how the birds ended up with Darius Cooper and a unsigned agent when he played college ball a stones throw from Dallas.

This comes down to scouting and talent evaluation IMO.

No. You have to have at least 1 year remaining on your contract to get an extension. That's why it's called an extension. Otherwise it's a new contract.

All 32 teams had multiple chances to draft Cooper. Can’t blame the Cowboys just because they’re nearby. I saw him on replays of preseason games. The guy seems to love to play football. The Eagles, I’m sure, are as surprised as anyone about him.

How do you know he has no back issue?

If he had a new deal he could risk playing somewhat injured. I wouldn't play with a back injury that could get far worse and cost me hundreds of millions.

Incredible you guys think leadership means he shouldn't demand to be paid his value, like every other elite player does on every other team. Their teams just sign them or move on way in advance, not this ridiculous game Jerry is playing.

He might have back issues but its not from football, Its all those vacation trips with other players in the NFL in the summer.... I'm pretty sure those atv's did a number on his back and sumo training
