He doesn't like the QB rating system. He finds it an insult to have Romo rated to Unitas. Personaly, it's stupid. A QB rating for a single game means nothing. A rating over a whole year is more telling, over a 5 year span tells you what a QB really is. You could say a career, but even that suffers from problems like a rookie QB is learning and doesn't compare to when a QB is seasoned. At the end of a career a QB tends to fall off and shouldn't be considered either when you are trying to truly pin-point what a QB was. I say remove the first 3 years and the last 3 years of a QB's career and then take a QB rating.

Generally it's not a totally bad system to use if you are comparing 2 QB's that played in the same time frame. However, it still generally favors West Coast offenses since it cuts down the chances for INT's and increases the chances for completions.
