No body is trading for Dak. Dak and Tannerhill are the same type of QB both need elite talent around them to be average

I disagree. Dak is a good QB, just not for Dallas. If he went to a team that has no expectations folks would talk highly of him. In Dallas you are expected to win and compete for championships. Dak is at his best when he is the underdog

The Chiefs did it to get Mahomes.

They had just got eliminated from the playoffs with Alex Smith, traded up and took Mahomes at 10, and got their guy.

Also, nobody knew Mahomes was going to be as great as he is, but the Chiefs took a chance and it paid off.

You will never get Mahomes if you stick with Alex Smith.

Agree…Nix is the definition of check down charlie. Their entire offense is quick short throws. His ADOT was very low.

I’m fine taking a QB early…but Nix’s game doesn’t translate to NFL success.
