What did Dak show you today?
That he can put up numbers against a prevent defense. Nothing I didnt already know. And BTW the he should of had three picks today. But he got lucky. He hit the GB LB in a bad place. His hands.

But even his rookie year he came out flat against Green Bay in the playoffs. We were down 21-0. It’s like when Dak gets in the mindset of… I don’t care what happens, I’m just going to play relaxed and sling it. That’s when he’s at his best. This year we were getting blown out in the first half, and in the 2nd half the pressure was off and he got in that mentality, his play improved significantly. I just don’t think he can handle the pressure unfortunately.
We weren’t down 21-0 we were winning 3-0 so it wasn’t 21-0 but I get it.

So what are you talking about? I’ve said Dak was poor. I’m ready to move on from him. I don’t think this will fix our issues but I’m ready to start over.

Btw, that wasn’t a prevent defendse but whatever. I honestly hope you guys get your wish and we move on. I also hope yall remember that we have sucked for 28 years and Dak is 30. Can’t blame him for the late 90s or 2000’s or 2010’s.

LOL! Wut? All you do is apologize for him and in other game threads try and pull him up by pulling down other QBs. So are you finally done apologizing for him? I mean he is not the only problem here but he is an obvious one. You are right about replacing him not fixing the issues. Maybe that can happen when Jerry meets his maker. Not until.

You might be right.

Though why does it matter? For whatever reason, he can't win pressure games against good teams. He's had 8 years (well maybe really 7, considering the ankle injury) and he's been consistent only in that - he doesn't play well in big games. And 8 years (actually I said last year the same thing, but I pushed it back since he missed so much time with the ankle) he's had his shot. Just like 10 years with Garrett, at some point you have to make a change, there's no other choice.

Sorry Dak, you're a great guy, you've done well for a 4th round pick, but you're not good enough at playing quarterback in the NFL....

It matters because he’s our QB lol. I was just pointing out what I think his problem is. I’m not opposed from moving on. Even though I don’t think he’s the only problem. This defense didn’t show up either, nor did the coaches. Where do we go from here? Complete blow up?

I’ll say what I said to another poster today. I’m a Cowboys homer. I defend Cowboy players when it comes to ridiculous takes…no one cares when I defend Micah or Lamb or D Law….i don’t apologize for someone’s play. Dak was bad today. And has been against a lot of good teams.

So much for you giving up and leaving from all the suffering. Bro, you aren’t going anywhere.

Yes, complete blow up. I mean, how did the Cowboys get to be champs in two different decades? Landry started off from scratch, built a SB winning team. Then after a non-playoff season, started over with 12 rookies on the team and win a SB 3 seasons later. Jimmy and his team started 1-15 and won 3 SBs in the next 7 years.

Problem is, Jerry can't stand losing games. He'd rather win 12 and lose playoff games well before the SB comes around than win 2 and rebuilt the team.

NOTHING will change on this team until Jerry Jones is out of the picture, be it by his death or whatever.

And maybe not even then...

QB is not the need. If we go D, I think it was gashing run plays over the games we lost this year. Right up the middle.
Probably have to waste another pick on a DT or a hard nose tackling LB. The secondary held it together
most of the season without Diggs. I've always wanted a Safety but Jerry hates the thought
of drafting a Safety, he'd much rather get some super old no namer to play that position.
This team has a lot of holes though and draft should be interesting.

Phil Simms was a walking injury report his first five years in the league. But then he changed his training regimen and eventually won a SB.

I'd not write him off so soon...

In this day and age I would think the best of “ training regimens “ are known to Lance . I’m going by what I saw of him in SF . Couldn’t stay on the field .

It's kind of an ironic thing....he's one of the best defensive players in the league on a rookie deal and we want to trade him like teams did Wentz and Bradford lol. Just silly lol. Trade our best pass rusher and the only one who can get sacks in favor of what?
How many sacks did he get in the biggest game of the year? Or most of the end of the season?
Keep him and pay him 28m per year?
Paying him 28m is what seems silly.

I have to admit, it's impressive watching people still try to argue Dak should come back after he spit out another massive failure in a big game.

Tip of the hat to you guys.
