Why is Denard still there?

And Billy Winn?

I would like OL but Winn might be a good snag at the end of the 4th.

I've read that Houck was the "champion" for Brewster.

Maybe the old man was having vision problems?

The O put up numbers in SOME games. In others, they were subpar.

Arizona
New England
Either Philly Game

They scored 20 or less in 7 games.

They were boom or bust and were far from consistent because the OL was bad.

We should have won the Arizona and NE game. If the secondary was where it is now we probably do. One Philly game we played with no Romo.

Other Philly game we got scored on so fast we had no chance to produce.

This is the case every single year. They seem to draft closer to all the published rankings than a lot of teams do and that is the reason for it. A lot of those recognizable names they've drafted for the past 4-5 years are nowhere to be seen now. Just because you recognize the names or their on someone's list of best available doesn't mean a single thing.

And most years they are better than us...

I'm not that big on the Giants draft.

The Eagles is OK, but nothing to write home about.

They didn't extend Young or Brewster.

do you REALLY want to discuss the quality of Cowboys contract extensions over the last 5 years?

That's it! The last "quality" 3-4 DE is gone...I don't know who else is out there now to build the DLine. Maybe Josh Chapman but I doubt it since they don't like NTs

We already took the 8th rated DE in Tyrone Chapman.

He was rated ahead of Winn and Crick and one slot behind Curry.

Did you want us to take two, or you just making a general statement.

The only reason Dallas was in the New England game and Arizona game was because the defense held those teams to like 10 and 13 points all the way through the game until the end.

I don't think it's fair to sit there and blame the defense for stumbling at the end when the offense barely even showed up from the start.

Fair enough. But we were in position to win.

Hey if you want to think that what the Cowboys did 3 or 4 or 5 years ago has merit on what Garrett is doing today, then so be it.

Did anyone see the Cowboys fan mug the camera during Steve Wych's broadcast at RFK?

Hilarious.

Brewster had a major life changing experience that completely derailed his focus on his football career. I don't begrudge the guy for that. Nor should you.

It was just a bad situation.

You haven't liked a single thing Dallas has done, including getting one of the few elite players in this draft... at a position of need that killed us last season... and doing it at a cost that is almost universally viewed as cheap. Not to mention that he was the 2nd ranked player on the Dallas board behind Luck and their scouts saw him as the best CB prospect in many years.

Getting the top ranked 3rd round player late in the 3rd didn't make you any happier.

Either you are a rival fan trolling this board or you just lack football understanding.

Dude.

That's one of those things that always gets me about the draft.

I had been seeing the names Curry, Winn and Crick before it, but not really Crawford. Then after we draft him, you read up on the player and see that he's considered better than a couple of those guys and in the same range as the other by several scouting sites.

My thoughts as well.

If someone doesn't agree with the majority ... there's a lot of name calling.

I barely come here anymore. I was insulted by someone when I simply asked for a link to the live draft.

His fiance died after giving birth to his son. He put his focus on being a better father.

Nothing wrong with that. Stuff happens.
