Hope the scouts know something we don't...

I hope they are right about something in this draft other then claiborne and if jerry take cream and sugar or just cream in his coffee!!!

You have to go back to 1982 to find the last time we took D with our top 4 picks. That year we took 5.

Who could have? He plays at a school that most people probably don't even know what city it is in.

Exactly. That's why I don't understand how we can bash a pick you know absolutely nothing about. There are people getting paid good money to watch these guys and know a lot more than any of us.

9% chance historically that any player can become a starter from here on out in the draft.

You still take players that have a shot, but you also want a guy that can make your team in some capacity.

I don't get this last pick, but we shall see.

SD's board has 350 players on it.....but not Matt Johnson. :laugh2:

I guess Buerlein, Jake the Snake and Cutler do not count?

What have any of those QBs done? All fizzled out of the league aside from Cutler who is trying to break Favre's interception record.

This was a terrible pick. It doesn't matter how good he turns out to be, they could have had in in the 6th or 7th round.

Be careful .....the NFL is slowly turning into the CFL.....

You know what...mayber Jerry should start drafting from the CFL... I am sure they have some better players then what he has drafter these last few picks.
BUt like everyone is saying...we have to wait and see...Just frustrating like i said before you see all these teams improving and we just go out on a limb time and time again and then wonder why we go 8-8 and suck in december. Just FRUSTRATED THAT IS ALL!!!!!:bang2:

Certainly beats walking around with the sourball disposition.

How do you know that?

You sound like that which you profess to hate.

It seems that if the kid had been able to play in 2011, then his draft status would have been higher.

Then draft him in the seventh if you just have to have him then.

I doubt there was another team with this scrub on their board as a fourth round pick.
