Spaghetti burrata with mushrooms and a spicy pork sausage meat sauce. Side of French bread and a simple kale salad with house made balsamic vinaigrette. Buffalo Trace on the rocks.
Real question -- do you not want to bring it up again? Because you've typed out a lot of stuff to respond to...Please don’t bring that up again. We’ve spent too much time talking about George Pickens. They will not take a second-round pick, I guarantee it. From their perspective, they’d only move him for a first rounder, if not in this draft, then in the nex, plus another pick or a player. It’s odd that Dexter Lawrence got a first, Waddle fetched even more, so why would they take less for Pickens? The market says he’s worth more. This isn’t about wanting to get rid of him, they like hi, but they know they can’t afford him long-term.
That’s the only reason this even comes up, but a second-round pick won’t cut it. No matter what you think, his value is much higher than that.
Maybe you should agree to moving him, but taking just a second-round pick is robbery. There’s no way you settle for that—you need more. The franchise tag says he’s worth two firsts, and I can give plenty of examples to back it up. There’s no way you only take a second. I’d rather keep him on the tag this year than accept such a deal. That’s just bad business, and fans agree with me. Media pundits think it’s a bad trade idea too.
Add a few pepper flakes, to the boiling water, before you add the pastaSauce & meatballs going into the slow cooker at noon. Fresh-grated Asiago and red pepper flakes to top-off the final spaghetti dish. And beer. Lots of beer.
Now that’s how you eat,Spaghetti burrata with mushrooms and a spicy pork sausage meat sauce. Side of French bread and a simple kale salad with house made balsamic vinaigrette. Buffalo Trace on the rocks.
what a great idea for a topic! Thanks Ranching, you're a real thinker. I like that. Glad your dad is on the mend.Time for a good Cowboys related meal. Been a busy month, dad had heart surgery, doing well, at least for a 90 year old. Blessed to have him and get to hang out with him everyday. My daughter and son in law are coming home in two weeks. He's done with his Air Force, 6 year commitment, and we're all excited for the next phase in their lives! Things getting back to normal, so it's ready for a DRAFT DAY MEAL!
Gonna make it quick and simple, bought a couple of 18 oz Ribeye steaks yesterday afternoon, throw them on the grill along with asparagus, onions, mushrooms and loaded mashed potatoes at about 5pm. Also got some cocktail shrimp and sauce for a pre BBQ snack. Got plenty of Kool Aid, that @gtb1943 , me, ready to go!
Not sure who I want to draft, but like @Bobhaze says, just trust Jerry! Lol, Have fun guys, cuss out Jerry, blame Dak, or be a homer, whatever makes it fun for you! Go Cowboys!
What's on your plate!

Local meat market has them for $8.99 a pound....cut fresh off the side of beefRanching, what does a ribeye in your neck of the woods go for a pound?
For me we are back at the farm and getting ready for seeding. So it will be a simpler working meal. Probably some casserole.
I'm retired....sitting in the formal living room, watching GMF until noon, then draft day coverage. Looking out a 6'×15' picture window, watching the cows graze in the pasture. Will move into my man cave after the steak and enjoy my Kool-Aid!! LolAre you really trying to treat this like an event that needs food and you're going to view this whole thing like on TV?
I've gotten to the point where I just watch the ESPN and Bleacher Report app and just see what teams to pick and refreshing to update until it gets really close to the Cowboys pics..
Easier because at this point of making it like an event is just too much of a let down and too much wasted energy for me..lol
Lol!!! Maybe one day you'll come up for air, from your coog love and send me a good idea for a topic!!! Lolwhat a great idea for a topic! Thanks Ranching, you're a real thinker. I like that. Glad your dad is on the mend.
I'm scared for tonight. I havent had a brewski in awhile, but at 1700hrs Eastern time the coors light cans will be poppin.
Food wise...
2 center cut pork chops, smothered in Franks Red Hot Sauce and cooked in the air fryer.
When they are about halfway cooked, I will toss in a big mound of fries- right on top of the pork chops in the basket.
My plans are to eat pre-draft. Because I really have that sinking feeling that when Dallas picks at approx 2120hrs Eastern, the food wouldn't go down quite as good.
Either way, enjoy the night everyone. Eat, drink and be merry.![]()
I dont want to be a hater, but what is a meun?
Now I know why you couldn't figure it out. LolI may have a little sativa in a subway
Wrong, didn't type... Literally use talk to tech rambled on then compiler cleaned it up and here I am very easy 10 times faster than tipping so not a lot of effort but I'm sick hearing about it, so I'll say it again, Tired of hearing about it..Real question -- do you not want to bring it up again? Because you've typed out a lot of stuff to respond to...
Edit: Actually, nevermind. It's a topic for another thread.
Anyway, I'm probably having McDonald's for draft day. I have young children and we'll be racing home from a school event.
A real a real man named Ranching would have gone out told his cow, told it he loved him, and then shot him in Processed it, made us all steaks, Beef ribs, and burgers LOLI'm retired....sitting in the formal living room, watching GMF until noon, then draft day coverage. Actually we're in drafting menu and somehow George Picken found the same this conversation when there's 10 other threads on same subject it did not be brought up here......Real question -- do you not want to bring it up again? Because you've typed out a lot of stuff to respond to...
