Draft Day Menu

I'll be watching online from my retirement job. Let that sink in, girls are expensive.

Brought a sub sandwich, chips, and grapes. Of course Diet Pepsi but no Crown.
Lol! Yes they are! Wouldn't change it for the world...

Well you aren't getting a ribeye for $8.99 US/ lb up here. Right now you can get a single 12 oz ribeye from a local butcher for $52.00.

Once I saw a couple of threads talking about Ribeye for the draft I thought "Holy Hannah!" these guys are high rollers.
I am, but mostly because I wouldn't pay 52 bucks for a cut of meat!! Lol

Starting the grill. My wife just made a NY style cheesecake and white cake cupcakes with walnuts and cream cheese icing!!! Damn, I'm feeling lucky!!! I might not even watch the draft!! Lol

I buy large slabs and cut my own steaks. I have a couple of thick cut NYs prepped for the grill.
My ranch hand, works at our local butcher shop. Been with me for 24 years. Works from 5am to 1pm there and with me from 1:30 to 5:30.....he's hooks me up with meat and drinks a 12 to 18 pack every night. Lol...he's only 5'6" and 155 lbs.

Time for a good Cowboys related meal. Been a busy month, dad had heart surgery, doing well, at least for a 90 year old. Blessed to have him and get to hang out with him everyday. My daughter and son in law are coming home in two weeks. He's done with his Air Force, 6 year commitment, and we're all excited for the next phase in their lives! Things getting back to normal, so it's ready for a DRAFT DAY MEAL!
Gonna make it quick and simple, bought a couple of 18 oz Ribeye steaks yesterday afternoon, throw them on the grill along with asparagus, onions, mushrooms and loaded mashed potatoes at about 5pm. Also got some cocktail shrimp and sauce for a pre BBQ snack. Got plenty of Kool Aid, that @gtb1943 sent me, ready to go!

Not sure who I want to draft, but like @Bobhaze says, just trust Jerry! Lol, Have fun guys, cuss out Jerry, blame Dak, or be a homer, whatever makes it fun for you! Go Cowboys!
What's on your plate!
Coach, I'm so happy to hear your dad is doing well. Truly glad he is home and feeling better. May you be able to spend many more years with him.

As for me, after 30 chemo treatments done and 15 more to go, I've got to stick to a diet, so it will be a salad with a small baked potato on the side (light butter), plus some alkaline water boiled with some Mexican Honeysuckle to create this herbal tea (tastes nasty like dirt) that's supposed to help against cancer, etc. I have a feeling Jerry and Stephen are going to leave a nasty taste in my mouth the way this tea does!

Enjoy today's 1st round, and...

:starspin: GO COWBOYS!!! :starspin:
