Im getting tired of all this . They might franchise him for another year and just let him walk after.

Yes.. Let's let him walk because of all this mid april drama he is causing. The same drama that would be a complete non story if it wasn't about the best player on the most polarizing team in the most popular of all american sports.

I hope that Roc Nation is not taking advantage of Dez and convincing him to do things that are not in his best interest but to think that people on this forum want to dump the teams most passionate, talented, and productive player due to twitter drama in mid april is insane to me.

The best strategy in the NFL seems to be to extend your core players and let veteran role players who wish to be overpaid walk. Dez is the definition of a core player.

The Cowboys should and I believe will get a long term deal with Dez done.

I remember the dreaded R word being thrown around when people (myself included) said they were concerned over him signing with Nation, well so far it been all I'll will and lawsuits. At this point it actually seems smart they franchised him, because waiting a year to see how Roc handle his brand is a shrewd move. What's that, two lawsuits in a fortnight? Seems excessive.

Money driven....at some point every player has to realize that making money was never the reason any of us played the game it was to be the best

I think a medium term deal would be in the best interest of the Cowboys. Dez is going to be turning 27 and
that is on the edge of not giving out a 5 year deal. No team these days wants to be overpaying a WR as
his skills are falling off a ledge. I think the Cowboys are also nervous about handing over a large amount
of signing bonus to Dez because of his "hanger's on". I suspect they will pony up the franchise tag for
1 or 2 more years and then Romo and Dez will both be leaving.
