Manziel, Fitzpatrick, Cousins, Winston, Mariotta, and Tyrod Taylor have won games already.

With a good defense, Dallas should get through this fine.

And who in the NFC East is going to run away and hide anyway?

I think they can manage to go 4-3 or better with this team. New England and Seattle look unlikely, but they are here, which should help a little.

I hope you're right about the 4-3 part.

I'd take 3-4 if I could have it right now.

I don't think these two are must win at all, but I think you have to win one of the next two. You still have winnable games against NY, Philly, TB, and MIA.

you never know I'm still not counting that as an automatic win with or without Brees. It gives us a much better chance. Brees is still capable of generating points if he gets hot.

Well it's a good thing Brees isn't playing then. This should be a win for us

New England is going to slaughter us. That game is gonna be ugly

A Belichick coached defense facing Brandon Weeden?

Bad things.

Do you realize that the Belichick coached defense you speak of gave up 32 points to tyrod taylor and the buffalo bills? Give me a break already. Some of you have no faith whatsoever. Just do us all a favor and go outside and wait for the anvil to fall on your head.

Not so sure about that. New England can have some stinkers every now and then if you make Brady and that offense uncomfortable.

You did not watch that game. It was not like Tyrod Taylor lit them up.

You do realize that you and pretty much everyone else around here was ready to dump Weeden for the next flavor of the moment the entire offseason, but now he has to be depended upon, he's deserving of faith?

At least I am consistent.

You have to look at the QBs/teams they faced in those wins.

Manziel won against Mariotta.

Fitzpatrick won against Manziel.

Cousins won against Foles.

Winston won against the Brees.

Mariotta won against Winston.

Taylor had the only impressive win vs. Luck/Colts.

We have Ryan, McCown, Brady, Eli, Wilson, Bradford, Winston coming up the next 7 games. We have the QB advantage in 1 or 2 of those matchups. Looking at that I don't think it's a stretch to say we have to win the first two games. Falcons b/c we're at home and I don't believe they are for real. Saints b/c of Brees and the fact that their defense has been gutted b/c of the salary cap. You can't lose those games when we have Brady, Eli, and Wilson on tap the next 3 games.

Find one post where I said I was ready to dump Weeden. You won't be able to. You're making stuff up and talking out of your ***.

This story is from New Orleans' local FOX Station:

Payton: 'too early' to discuss Brees' playing status

A second quarter sack clearly affected Drew Brees' play Sunday in a 26-19 loss to Tampa Bay, but the team is waiting to see if it will affect his playing status for Sunday against Carolina.

"It's early, today is the day after. We'll take a peek and see how he is feeling, coming along and see where we are at Wednesday," head coach Sean Payton told reporters Monday. "We'll do the best thing for him and where he is at. But I think it's early to say that."

Payton said he didn't the play where he was hurt until Monday morning but acknowledged it did impact his play the rest of the game.

Given the quotes by Sean Payton in that article (post #31) even if the injury to Brees was bad enough for him to miss this coming Sunday, I think he'll be back to play against us. If it was enough for him to miss more, they'd know by now (Right??)

I still think that game is winnable though.
