Drew Henson signed to Vikings practice squad

I used to avoid any thread about Henson but this is just so refreshing to read something not about TO.

good so you henson freaks go join up on the viks forum

tell me where the bad grammar "freaks" hang out so i can ignore that forum then.

I'm looking at ESPN News and the scroll just showed the following:

"Vikings sign Henson to the practice squad."

Hasn't Johnson come out recently and said that he hopes/plans to play another 5 or 6 years in the league?

Okay, this explains the TO thing. Apparently he has been holding out hope that Jerruh would bring Henson back and he would then lead the Boys to the Super bowl by throwing 70 passes a game in TO's direction. Evidently, TO took all those pills in despair that Henson would not be here.

A character that used to be on Saturday Night Live (very funny on SNL) and they later made a movie of the character (the movie was just not good).

The character was a crazy catholic school girl doing all kind of silly things and somtimes she would yell out...SUPERSTAR.

practice squads are pretty set in their terms.

Yes they are.

Here is your check. My best advice? Rent, don't buy.

He may beat Brad Johnson out......

Beat him out of Minnesota, or beat him out the door after practice but anymore then thats an EXTREME longshot. Once again, if this kids so good why did eevery team pass on him on the waiver wire and why has he been sitting at home all this time. Let me guess its all a big part of Parcells blackballed him conspiracy

would love to hear the terms of the contract.

He had to eeither pay them all the money the Cowboys gave him for the remainder of his contract or carry Johnsons jock. Unfortunately he's not good enough to carry Johnson's jock so he just fessed up the money ;)

Practice squad?

Wow, TO and Henson's career went on life support within 24 hours of each other...

;)

So, does he give up all the guaranteed money the Cowboys owe him or did they buy him out? If he signed elsewhere, his contract with the Cowboys should be void (I would think).
