I've complimented you before but it baffles me that the remaining select group of strong Dak supporters hang on to their egos/pride instead of just manning up and calling it like it is. This stuff is on clear display. Again, I appreciate your personal integrity.
Like it or not, Pappy was right when he posted about the pressure from the outside to improve all of these fundamental flaws you've pointed out here is gonna seriously intensify now. He's become an even more obvious target for the future.
I believe this is the beginning of a continued downward spiral that is gonna become even more obvious next year the more games are played.
Good post.

I don't have an ego...I say it as I see it and I never call my self and expert. I don't do eye test, I look at results, context, watch videos as much as I can get access to. diagnose, try to be objective...without having an agenda or emotions. I have said it multiple times, I am not smitten with Dak, tell me who else, tell me another plan, explain logically, and I am onboard on getting rid of Dak and bringing in alternatives....I don't play hypotheticals, what ifs and fantasy football. I want what's best for the cowboys
his footwork was his issue in 2016, 17, and 18....Kitna worked on his feet and I miss Kitna as QB coach and he became so much better. setting his feet, going through the throws, consistent release point and he became a good pocket passer, much more accurate. he trusted himself and didn't hold on to the ball as long, as he started to hit tigher windows.... all requirements for NFL QBs. 2020, in the first 5 games he was good, despite the team results, given how bad (historically bad) the defense was.
earlier this year he was the same and then after his injury he just collapsed. at first I thought it was the calf, but with the calf he resorted to his old habits (I really think his calf and ankle weren't ok at first)....he was reluctant to run and clearly favored the right leg, would lift his leg at the throw....... and then he started running again, which tells me his leg was better, but he kept his old habit. the worst I saw was the last philly game.....he lifted his back leg consistently and had a lot of upper body english to add zip to the ball....very strange. I saw he was behind the recievers in his throws down field...consistently....which told me he didn't have the same velocity, but his mind was still working on his old timing.
and since his injury, anytime he ran to the right and threw the ball, he missed most of his throws....it was 50/50... and I was surprised Mr. Analytics didn't see these things to make adjustments....
