Drew Super Bowl Brees threw 2 costly int's in a loss today

Yeah I would much rather have Romo's production in his career than Flacco's. Flacco is so horrible in the playoffs. He's a loser.

Get real.

his postseason play last year was excellent.

before that, he had thrown 8 TDs and 8 INTs in the postseason.

do you think that, perhaps, his defense and running game might have contributed to flacco's success?

and do you think that romo, in a similar situation, might have done at least as well?

I think that his coaches and Front Office personnel are lite years better than ours. Harbaugh fired Cameron in December of last year because he knew things were not working for the offense and they had the talent to be better. Hello Superbowl. No way JG can do that with Monte Kiffen because Jerry would have to give him the okay. Imo, Romo vs Flacco or Brees is pretty immaterial compared to the real problems plaguing this club.

Why do people continue to make these lame threads? Flacco and Brees have proven themselves in playoff games.

Romo has not.

End of story.

because other people keep making lame threads about needing to get rid of romo.

like michael irvin said, can we get drew bledsoe back here so we can appreciate what romo does for us?

yes, flacco and brees have proven themselves in the playoffs. they have also played on vastly superior teams. (although, brees has been a much bigger component of his team's success than flacco has. but even he didn't win a super bowl until his defense put the game away with a pick six of -- guess who? -- peyton manning.)

take flacco's ravens, for example. for his first four years in the league, their defense was ranked 3rd in the league in points allowed. last year's championship team was actually an aberration, a middle-of-the-pack team on both offense and defense that got hot at the perfect time.

now, i DO agree that romo has come up merely average in the playoffs, and that he has made crucial mistakes too many times. and i hate it. but to say, as some do, that he has been the main reason for our failures, is ridiculous. more often, he has been the reason we have had a chance at all. and, really, that's what you can say about every great quarterback. (okay, maybe not montana. he just seemed to be perfect. but if you look at those 49ers teams that won it all or went far in the playoffs, they were very complete teams, with excellent defenses. and bill walsh and jerry rice count for something, right?)

It's only end of story if you're ignorant and can't fathom that there are 52 other players on the field.

Yawn. At some point a so called good QB will win more than one playoff game in his whole entire career. But let the excuses keep flying in.

Someone might have said it already...but Drew Brees has done this for his entire career. Always.

there really is no limit to these threads
Romo can rest easy. Whatever he does Sunday it makes no difference. His army will be there to soothe and protect.
