He has two SBs. That more than makes up for crappy regular season play.

It’s funny lol you guys one minute say regular season means nothing but in the next want to overvalue it.
It's funny that you guys one minute are screaming "it takes a team to win the SB!!!", but in the next want to give the QB all the credit, undervaluing the mediocrity that is the majority of his body of work, to elevate him to the HOF.

It all evens out after having to make circus catches way above your head, passes continuously behind you, at your feet, etc......

The Giants don’t win those SBs without him. No matter what you say or feel.

Even if true (and it's not) Doesn't change my argument one bit

Example Bland's hands seem to be pretty good. Why isn't he running routes instead of covering them?
BP said that as regards the hands thing and I have heard it from others.

That is a hard graphic to stare at. Kansas City's receiving corps was criticized all season long. *I think* Patrick Mahomes' most dependable receiver was Travis Kelcie.

The Chiefs are sitting at the top with the most dropped passes. Dallas' receivers dropped six less passes.

Kansas City went all the way last season. Dallas stumbled into and out of its own stadium in the wild card round.

Dropped passes alone do not provide an obstacle for success.

Life can be so unfair at times. :(
KC's offense struggled off and on throughout the season, but their defense was stellar. Mahomes is great and will get all the credit, but it was their defense that carried them through the season.

Is this a serious thread or just to bait people in the endless Dak back and forth?

Anywho, the Cowboys had 4 guys with 5 or more drops last year
CDL: 6 drops on 135 catches/181 targets
Pollard: 6 drops on 55 catches/67 targets
Ferguson: 5 drops on 71 catches/102 targets
Gallup: 5 drops on 34 catches/57 targets

Remaining guys like Cooks, Turpin, Schoonmaker and Dowdle had 3 each.
Hendershot/Tolbert/McKeon had 2, 1 & 1 respectively.
Really pollard and Gallup were the ones that stand out to me. When you have 100 plus targets and drop 5-6 that’s not bad. 5 drops on 57is bad but a RB who’s getting mostly short passes dropping 6 on 67 is bad

Their run game a defense was a huge part of their success this year

The Giants D was a lot more responsible for those wins than Eli. A bus driver was all they needed
A bus driver…..Eli made some key throws that whole playoff run. Mind you that Giants defense had secondary issue and had a good defensive line….

Aikman played in the 90s…..Also has 3 rings……
Lol. You bring up rating as a major metric with which to judge QBs and now all of a sudden ratings didn't count in the 90s? I missed that when you planted that goalpost. The man you're using it against, McNabb himself, started his career in the 90s. Hilarious. Now I know how all those Dak threads end up with 25 pages. Y'all are funny.

McNabb was drafted in 1999….he didn’t play in the 90s….nice try lol….

It’s not goal post moving I just assume some things don’t have to be explained but that’s on me.

When Aikman was leaving the league McNabb was as entering it. Didn’t play at the same time. McNabb and Romo played in the same passing era.
