I was hoping Fiske would get to us in round 3. I just can’t see it happening. The tape is too damn good and the athletic testing has been impressive. And he anchored a pretty good defense. Murphy and Newton are firmly 1 & 2, but Fiske will be in front of Sweat on some boards.

Yea…I def don’t do enough homework on him but that’s the fun part about the combine IMO. Makes you want to go back and watch some guys.

The catch is if you draft him early you basically are hoping he can replace Osa in year 2 and you don’t have to pay him. I know some posters aren’t high on Osa but he’s coming off a 40+ pressure season and a high PFF grade himself.

Yeah but the evidence is pretty overwhelming that Mazi is a bust. I never even thought Trysten Hill was as much an obvious bust as Mazi is.

Gotta give it more than 1 year. We would’ve missed out on some great players over the years if we would’ve given up on them after 1 year.

I'm not sure what more time will do, he is at 295 lbs has absolutely no ability as 3tech, what is he going to do? I can't imagine he gains weight back to regular and becomes a NT after the fact. He has no position and they obviously saw something very wrong if he was told to lose the weight and they pretty much gave up on him at that point.
