Dumb play-calling on our last series cost us the game

This whole organization sucks. They just keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Let's build up on the offensive side of the ball, play a one gap system on the defensive side of the ball, and hope that works out.

Hello, the one gap system does not guarantee you're going to get to the quarterback, but it does guarantee you're going to get your butts kicked on the ground.

Hello, Dak is a great bus driver, but a bus driver should never be allowed to carry the team. We should run the ball 34 times a game no matter what.

Hello, your office coordinator I always seems to drop the ball at the wrong moments in the game. Right before the interception in the third quarter, I was thinking we need to start running misdirection plays in the backfield. But nope let's run the same running plays we've been running the entire game.

Those are all the same issues we've had ever since the Romo days. So we've had the same issues for 13 years now. So let's keep going the same thing and hoping for different results. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...is not a good strategy.
:banghead:
And we're "insane" for being such fans.

Why even throw it that deep? All we needed was a first down? What a really dumb coaching/QB decision to help Jacksonville take the game to overtime.
I felt like Jason Garrett was still coaching.
I was screaming that. That's such a low probability pass-catch. I would've rolled Dak out, see if we could get someone open 10 yards down for a first down. If it's not there, just have him drop down and keep the clock moving.

There was more than 1 receiver to throw to on that 3rd down play. Dak chose to throw the long ball. The primary target was not Brown. DAK CHOSE TO THROW TO BROWN!

Moore is our weakest link.
....HC killer, RB killer, drive killer, momentum killer, working on QB killer.

If Mike McCarthy doesn't watch Air Coryell Jr, he will be hoisting a For Sale sign in the yard real soon.
Zeke is bashed because of AIr Coryell Jr's play calling.
TPollard makes plays despite Air Coryell Jr's play calling.
Amari Cooper got shipped because of Air Coryell Jr play calling.

Dak will never evolve because of Air Coryell Jr's play calling or mentoring. Show me the Dak improvement under him?
Next up......CeeDee/Gallup......your turns.

We should have run the ball on 3rd and 10 with less than 2 minutes left.

Instead we attempt a deep throw down the sidelines which was incomplete, saving the Jags final timeout.

They needed that timeout to force overtime.

We deserve to lose with dumb decisions like that.

Choking away a 17-point 2nd half lead is painful.
This is a severally flawed team with horrible coaches. Still think Quinn is HC material after watching HIS defense squander lead after lead, week after week???????

Been saying it recently and even before the year started. Dak is not a good deep, deep ball passer (not 20 yards like the stats consider deep). Never a better case of not playing to your strengths than this play today.

More of the same week in and week out. Doesn't matter who's coaching or playing QB because it's a culture thing that starts in the F.O. We pick up every one's throw aways whether is coaches or players. We are damn lucky to have Pollard and some of the OL we have. But McCarthy is not a good in game coach and Moore just sucks flat out. Quinn got fired because he defense will eventually get toasted because of his overly aggressive style. But again, leftovers on the sideline will get you this result and it a big part of the reason we continue to see this crap. Jerry is about money and he is making plenty of it with that stadium.

Why did they even call a pass? You have to kill their last timeout. I will never fathom the stupidity of that call.

Dak better quit with the nice guy approach on the sidelines. Been time to start looking at Air Coryell Jr sideways.

One of McCarthy's MOs in Green Bay was peculiar clock management/end of game situations.

We've had examples of this in the past with him in Dallas and today was another.

If you are gonna throw, at least make it a safer, higher success rate kind of pass. A deep ball? LOL.

.....YEP....that was some high school level horse crap right there. Really laughable honestly.

Dak didn't have to throw that ball. It was covered. Plays have options built in for the quarterback.

A rollout by Dak would have been an OK play choice.

It would have eaten up a few more seconds of precious time.

If a sure completion wasn’t there Dak just has to go down, forcing the Jags to use their final timeout.

We gifted the Jags a lifeline and they used it to beat us.

I KNEW we were going to lose when we gave it back to the kid. Give me Lawrence over Suk every day of the week and twice on Sunday. TEN PICKS since week 8 - not all his fault but EIGHT are - just pathetic.

Especially when they missed the OBVIOUS false start. Dude jumped out of his shoes and no call. Then it was like a slow motion train wreck.

To think a pro level coach couldn't puzzle that together disgusts me.

Dan Quinn’s entire philosophy on this defence is getting pressure…we have seen what happens to his defence when they can’t get pressure…they get torched?

They are over invested on a defensive line that can’t stop the run and can’t really stop the pass if they don’t get pressure. Time to rethink that philosophy. Brandy will get the ball out in -2.7 seconds. He will light these guys up…
