Dunbar

Bro, at this point who's overhyping him? This place is flooded with posts bashing him, calling for him to be cut, etc. If anything he's a whipping boy at this point, regardless of whether he's a scrub or talented.

Not now. Before. Like last year at this time. He was a gem. A diamond in the rough. The guy sucks. He's a bottom of the roster bit player who can make a play here and there.

I loathe the running backs on this roster. A career bust, a knucklehead who can't protect the QB and an undrafted nobody who can't run between the tackles.

I'd still take a year of this over signing the overrated DeMarco Murray to that big deal, but it didn't have to be this way. Should have drafted a back.

Let's take a look at last years top 5 rushing teams and how Dunbar compared to their 3rd backs.
Seattle Michael total yards from scrimmage. 197
Jets Powell 233
Niners Smith 30
Texans Grimes 239
Dunbar. 316.

Seems to me when compared to other 3rd string backs. The Cowboys and Dunbar faired pretty well.

Dunbar is not supposed to be a third string back. He's supposed to be a specialty role player, but he has rarely seen the ball.
