Correct numbers for WR Dwayne Harris on his five-year deal with the #Giants: Averages $3.5M per year with $7.1m fully guaranteed at signing.

Liked DH a lot. Thought he was a little underutilized. Liked him with the quick hitches.

Harris was a real solid player but 4th WR/ST guy isn't someone you should be overpaying.

Should be an easy target in round 4-5 to replace him.

here's why the Giants work for him and them

More money for him (the easy part)
Harris had a better PR average than any Giant last year (5th int he NFL)
Harris had a better KR average than in Giant last year (13th in the NFL)
Harris can play on cover teams
Ogletree is their 5th WR
Harris will be their best blocking WR (as mentioned by Percy already)

But I'd say they can't pay BOTH Beasley and Harris that kind of money.

Hey, if we don't sign Murray, Spiller is a great KR. :)

Underwhelming returner and a barely looked at 4th or 5th receiver. Not a huge loss.

Good run blocker, wasn't as good a returner in 2014 as he was in 2013 but he did add some life to the return game that was non existent for what seemed like forever. I don't know, I always liked him. Would rather have Beasley though, certainly as a wr.

Durant, Harris, Parnell, Carter.

Losing a bunch of depth. Does not bode well

He's had less than 200 yards these past 2 seasons combined. He wasn't being utilized at all in our offense (and won't be in theirs). And he wasn't that great of a returner, and even Giants fans are pissed about this, that should tell you a lot.

I liked Harris but I had a feeling this was gonna happen. They'd be better suited for find a corner who can do these duties because at BEST Harris was gonna be a 5th option as a receiver. HE had a solid career here. Loved him as a special teams guy. Definition of Special Teams ace.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's their #3 wr midway thru the season since their current #3 is inconsistent. I think it's jernigan or some other crappy lsu player who gets talked about by giants fans but can't put it all together for long stretches.

Our special teams is gonna suck even more next year especially with jones back there

Didn't think he'd resign, but didn't think the Giants would be of interest. Doesn't feel like he'll get much opportunity there.

Cole basically put a ceiling on DH's role here. Never seemed like the team was comfortable giving him more to do. It felt like the coach and QB had concerns about Harris' ability to know what he was supposed to do, and be where he was supposed to be, and do it the way they wanted it done. Keep it simple and he was fine. Expect him to make adjustments based on defensive alignment...more hit or miss.

As for when we play NY, just don't kick it to him.
