Eagles defense is overrated and one step above garbage

Here are the numbers:
Points allowed: 24th
Points allowed per drive: 29th
First downs allowed: 28th
3rd down defense: 32nd
Red zone defense: 29th
Take aways: 26th
Sacks: 12th
Sack percentage: 22nd

The Eagles have some very talented defensive players, but they also put bottom-tier players out there mixed in. There doesn't seem to be much in the middle. The bad players they have are really bad. Just keep the Eagles D line from the QB and watch the points roll in.

The Eagles defense has forced 33 3rd downs in the last two games. 23 of those were converted.

The offensive coordinator forgets that he has Swift to run the ball.

The defensive coordinator can make good adjustments against average teams but can't hide the lesser players from O.C.'s that know how to design plays.

We will win by 17.

I agree that they have great players....then BAD players....without much middle ground. I know you can't stock every position with probowlers, but their philosophy of going cheap at LB while dumping huge resources into the line was taken a smidgen to the extreme IMO. You at least have to have SERVICEABLE players at all spots.

They did do a good job of adjusting to KC (not an average team) to shut them down in 2nd half...and they did clamp down Miam pretty strongly at the point when Miami was the hottest team in the league.....but then they sucked against Buff and SF. A bit jekyll and Hyde.

Throw all the stats out the window. This is a division game between to heated rivals and they match up well with each other. It will be close like the last one.

The glaring weaknesses of both teams' defenses were well-exposed & documented in last week's games.

DQ's unit is the Cowboys Achilles heel right now. Hope they can scheme around it.

Yep. Trash. We have been feasting on trash defenses pretty much since the Niners game, so we have a good shot at beating them at home.

Like I said the backhalf will be their exit out of the playoffs. Complete garbage.

Also opens up the run game the second half once they get dominated by the pass game.

Deebo Samuels did say Bradberry is trash.
I think the Eagles strength when healthy is the D line and they really need LB and safety help.
