Eagles fans lame excuse is to insult their backup QB

[Reality]

The Cowboys did not have starters Anthony Brown, Leighton Vander Esch, Jourdan Lewis, Johnathan Hankings or Terrence Steele nor did they have Sam Williams who has been making an impact lately.

Injuries happen to every team. Good teams overcome them.

I am sure they had no problem thumping their chests when they held on to beat the Cooper Rush led Cowboys earlier in the year in their stadium.

Minshew was drafted 6th rnd by the Jags in 2019 and traded to the Eagles for a 6th rnd pick in 2021. Has thrown for 6,000 yds and 41 TDs and 12 INT with a 93.9 passer rating. Is still on his rookie contract and has never been cut. Doesn't qualify as a journeyman imo.

Gardner Minshew has started for several teams. Cooper Rush has not. They barely beat us when Cooper Rush was our QB earlier this season. According to their logic, that's even worse.

Its funny the same people saying he's not very good are the ones who hyped up Rush and said he was better than Dak. Is he elite? No. Top 10? No. He's a notch under Derek Carr and Cousins. He COULD start for some teams in this league. He was throwing to wide open guys most night but I will say I'm not sure if those two picks were strictly on him. Two great plays by the corner and his receivers kind of left him out to dry.

Yeah I said it at the time I don't know why people keep hyping up those Texans QB's game. I guess together they equaled one decent QB but individually they had light performances.

i agree. Even his INTs weren’t bad throws, they were actually incredible defensive plays that you cannot reasonably expect a db to make.

That's pretty much it. Yes, Rush is good. He's a good backup. He went 4 and 1, and I'm thrilled with that. I remember when we begged the likes of Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel to just go .500, and they tanked every game save one.

Dak is our best QB. I think you're spot-on by ranking him near Carr and Cousins. I would be good with drafting a QB for competition.

Definitely the worst fans in the league. I've rarely ever even had anything against an Eagles player. Deshaun Jackson was about the only one I ever despised. It's their fans that are atrocious.

Agreed they are not playing as well as they did earlier in the year but we all know that the season is full of ups and downs. The offense needs to overcome our injuries and subpar play on defense. Earlier in the year, the defense was making up for our lack of offense. The tables have turned…

Minshew throws the ball better than hurts does. It’s his legs that makes him dangerous. Gardner also can escape pocket well
