Eagles have been to 8 CGs and 4 SBs

We have dak, we don't need any playoff wins or super bowls. We have the legend and his useless stats. :D
Well look who came back from the dead?
:omg:

BTW, barring injury, Dak is set to pass and break your boy's franchise passing leader record before the end of the upcoming 2025 season.
:muttley:

Oddball Info:
- Carson Wentz could get his second Super Bowl ring
- No former Dallas Cowboys players are currently on the Philadelphia Eagles roster
- One former Dallas Cowboys player is currently on the Kansas City Chiefs roster: Peyton Hendershot (TE)

Meanwhile.......... Jerry prefers to run it back year after fugging year.
This.

Nick Foles would have a lifetime starting gig here for randomly winning 3 playoff games in a row.

Heck, Wentz would also have a lifetime starting gig as our QB because he was "MVP runner up" In 2017, that buys you unlimited belief from Jerry and also, you know how hard it is to find good QBs, so let's just stick with Wentz for 20 years because we can't find anyone else.

This is the reason we suck.

We stick to losers like no other team.

We have Dak, we don't need playoff wins or Superbowls, he will have the franchises most passing yards Wich is better than anything Aikman, Staubach or even Danny white could have done!

SBs are for losers, real QBs pass for a ton of yards in blowout games!

Yuck, I hate possums. Only cuz my dog catches them in the yard and it’s a fight and my dog gets scratched up. The other night there was a possum in my yard and I’m holding my dog back while trying to shoo it away. This idiot possum stares at me until my 110 pound GSD gets free and goes after it. Then there’s a loud fight that sounds like a demonic possession and then I have to pry the thing out of my dogs mouth so my dog won’t completely kill it. Man I hate those things.

Did you read the Dan Snyder article this week? It was really eye opening. He viewed the team as his play thing, and kicked & scratched to prevent the sale up to the 11th hour.

I don’t think they’re intentionally sabotaging these teams, I just think they believe they’re way better at what they’re doing than they really are… mostly because there’s no one above them to chastise their mistakes.
No I didn’t read that. What article is it, link please. I’d appreciate it, I’d like to read it. A lot of parallels between Snyder and Jones. I feel the difference is Dan Snyder never had a Hershel Walker trade and Jimmy to build the team around it.

I hate Philly with a passion and it all started when I was really young and they cheered Michael Irving's career ending injury. I wish horrible things on not only the city but the people of Philadelphia. I wish nothing but suffering for them.
You do realize not everyone in that city, or even everyone who was in that stadium is a piece of garbage, right?

...... that's the MAIN difference between how we and the Eagles operate. Its not necessarily the, 'they restructure CAP", the Eagles do that as much as we do,......but what they do is: evaluate AND PREPARED TO TRADE or CUT, rather than keep extending EVERYONE of their named stars. We, on the other hand, extend EVERY player we've drafted in a vain hope they improve with age?

Take Hurts v Dak, take away the playing ability, just look at the contracts and organizational strategy surrounding the two. Stephen / Jerry are saying, the Eagles are facing their own CAP Hell.......ERRR NO, because Roseman will quite willingly Trade or Cut Hurts by 2027 (that or he's got the option of extending him.....but the usual Eagles MO is to build and extend those lines, get foundations built so i'd guess Hurts will go). Quite willing to take a reset hit, but that takes planning and not being obsessed with the commercial identity of players.
Roseman's always looking at football decisions first....interestingly Jerry/Stephen has the opportunity, if we have another failed season in 2025, to move on from Dak (pre-June 2026, or 2027), but will they?

And the Chiefs may be the first threepeat Super Bowl winners. Something that would have happened 30 years ago if Jerry could have swallowed his pride and worked with his GM/Coach.
And if they win the sb, the Chiefs can tie us at 5. I wonder how many others will pass us by?

Remember when Philly traded up to draft Wentz and people were saying oh Dallas fans were all saying you can't do that. If you miss on that pick it will cripple the franchise for years. Heck they let Wentz go and just drafted Hurts. They have done a lot of draft trades to move around. Just like the Rams did. Those franchises don't look crippled. The only thing that looks crippled is Dallas holding onto Dak like he is something special when he isn't even as good as Wentz or Goff.

Somebody mentioned how they got rid of Wentz even after he was MVP runner up (remember when Dak got that and his fanboys held a parade and continue to celebrate it). This organization would still be running him out there every year.

Unfortunately for the fans, Dak got to play the weakest pass defense schedule in the league in what was basically a contract year. Many of us realized it was a mirage, but no way Jerry was going to dig deep enough to understand what had just happened, so they give him a record breaking deal.
