We have a similar back in Rico Dowdle.
You are ridiculous.Hey JJ, it's your move or are you going to pass it to the Eagles again.............LOL!
Hey guy, had to comment that I have appreciated your contributions this off season. Some are even eye catchers - on target now...We have a similar back in Rico Dowdle.
Miles Sanders is a Panther nowWould Miles Sanders then become a back up getting 8-10 carries a game?
The Eagles already have a top RB, a couple of quality backups, and one of the better running QBs in the game. It's hard to imagine them paying Taylor, or giving up whatever it would take in a trade to get him
Damn, you're right. Thanks for reminding me. That changes the situation considerablyMiles Sanders is a Panther now
I’m not sure it does. They brought in Swift and Penny. They kept Gainwell (who way outplayed Sanders in the playoffs last year) and Scott.Damn, you're right. Thanks for reminding me. That changes the situation considerably
Id love if they gave up high level picks and paid him a huge contract
Added bonus, they'd have a Taylor-Swift backfield.
I do think if a deal is made with the eagles, the trade will include some conditional performance provisions, for example if he gets more than x number of touches and x number of yards, the Colts get a 1st round pick + whatever else they agree to. Less than that a 2nd and so on. Roseman is not perfect and does have a history of some mistakes. The contract may also be conditional based on performance. One thing I can say is Rosemen won't jeopardize his reputation by making a bad deal for philadelphiaYou know Howie.
They will swap 4th (Eagles will get a higher pick then), a 6th in 2026 and a conditional 7th in 2025.
Taylor then signs a modest deal to play for a “contender”.
The eagles would play football with in a den of rattlesnakes before giving a 1st round pick for a RB.I do think if a deal is made with the eagles, the trade will include some conditional performance provisions, for example if he gets more than x number of touches and x number of yards, the Colts get a 1st round pick + whatever else they agree to. Stephen Jones says Cowboys have deepest roster in team’s history
Now Steven would never lie to the fans.....right?
YesIf philly gives him a new contract will you still cry and moan that we didn't get him?
You went to Salem High?I would die. Guy from my high school playing for the Eagles!!!
Spot on post…The colts/philly relationship is what also gave me pauses. But that does not mean I would not still be a little shocked if it happened.Hmm, I don't see the Eagles giving up top quality draft picks for JT. It's not what they do.
On the flip side, there is a trading and personnel history between the two teams. JT might take a lesser deal to not only play for a contender, but to come home to South Jersey. The last time the Eagles has a local kid play, Corey Clement, the former high school player from Glassboro, NJ, had 100 receiving yards and a TD in their Super Bowl win.
Still, it's a long shot. It would out of character for Roseman to do this type of deal.
Eagles are too smart…….pay the line, not the backWould Miles Sanders then become a back up getting 8-10 carries a game?
