The Eagles have lost center Jamaal Jackson for the rest of the season, playoffs included.

A league source has told CSN's Derrick Gunn that Jackson suffered a torn ACL in the first quarter of Sunday's win over Denver. Jackson's absence causes yet another shuffle along an offense line that has suffered several injuries this season but been healthy of late.

After Jackson left Sunday's game, Nick Cole moved from right guard to center, and Max Jean-Gilles played right guard.

Head coach Andy Reid will provided further information at his noon press conference.

Tackle Jason Peters, guard Todd Herremans and Jean-Gilles all have been limited by injuries this season. The Eagles also lost tackle Shawn Andrews (back) for the season. His brother Stacy, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in December of last season and was projected to be the starter at right guard, has played in only nine games this season.

He is the center for the Eagles. Very good player.

I am listening to Andy Reid's Press Conference and he says it is a big deal.

Who cares? We've got injuries too. We lost Columbo and are moving on just fine. They'll do the same.

Whover they play should be irrlevant to us. We need to go win us a division totle come Sunday.

I like Jackson .. IIRC Jackson started on the Eagles PS and was a UDFA. I think had, Gurode never received all the attention he did for the Haynesworth incident that Jackson would have been in the probowl

This is good news, because they are already playing with two backups, he just makes a third on their line. I doubt it helps though. Those guys have been playing with injuries all year, and last year when they were beat up and things look good for us, we got clobbered. So I'll take it for what it's worth, nothing.

that is a tough break for them.

Now more than ever the stadium has to be deafening this sunday.

The exchange from center with a new guy is tough as it is, if there are 95000 screaming fans it makes it even that more difficult...
