Nolan Smith is too small for DE.

He's definitely not a full time edge guy, but is more of a hybrid lb/s type player. He fell because of injuries and teams not sure where his actual position is. NFL network making a big deal about this pick. No doubt they got an athletic defender, but they have to figure out where he plays and if his body can hold up.

Actually, the Eagles have the easiest schedule in the division next year, and poor Washington has the hardest.. NO with the easiest overall.

Let's let them play a down or two before we hit the panic button. The Cowboys have a pretty good team too.

Besides, the Cowboys had Fletcher Cox who was better than Jalen Carter will ever be and we beat them a bunch of times. I am actually surprised the Eagles went DL with both picks, unless they want to play Nolan Smith at LB. Even then, spending 2 1st round picks on defense when their OL is aging is a bit surprising.

Eagles have Jalen Hurts as their QB, they won't have a weak schedule for years like last year, and they blow their opportunity last year. Unless they play Daniel Jones and 3rd, 4th, and 5th string QBs in the playoffs last year was easy as it will get for them.

This is football. Bring it on. The Cowboys have a good roster; the Eagles seem to be good. Competition in sports is a good thing. It brings out the best in everyone. Someone must win and someone must fall short. Let the games begin.

The Eagles were close last year. People saying wait til they play a first place schedule don't realize they scored 35 points in the SB. The schedule won't be a problem. As a Cowboy fan Dallas only scoring 12 points in a playoff game because of the QB is more of a concern.
