Actually, the Eagles have the easiest schedule in the division next year, and poor Washington has the hardest.. NO with the easiest overall.

LOL, Toughest schedule based on Vegas win projection? Come on, man. Our schedules will be very similar. They will get the team that finished first in two NFC divisions and we will get the team that finished second. Only one other opponent will be different. The scheduled difference will barely be a blip.

The three changes are we get Carolina, Detroit, and San Diego. The Eagles get Minnesota, Tampa, and Kansas City on the road. Carolina and Tampa are a push, Detroit and Minny pretty much the same level, with Kansas City being tougher. Minimal difference overall.

Most Nfc weak but sucks for us the Eagles are so good.
Oh please, just by his actions with the racing incident and showing up to the combine out of shape Carter has shown that he is immensely immature. Let’s see how he handles being “hit in the mouth” by an NFL caliber player before we anoint him anything. Smith is a woefully undersized DE who fell far below where he was projected by the talking heads, matching his actual college production. I’m gonna give the scouting departments of 29 NFL teams the benefit of the doubt before I go “poopy” in my pants. Philly is an old team that had really good luck avoiding injury last season. History has repeatedly shown teams never get that lucky twice!

Eagles have Jalen Hurts as their QB, they won't have a weak schedule for years like last year, and they blow their opportunity last year. Unless they play Daniel Jones and 3rd, 4th, and 5th string QBs in the playoffs last year was easy as it will get for them.
They were a play away from winning the Superbowl.

Whether they got lucky with their playoff schedule/injuries is irrelevant. The simple fact is they were the best team in football all year.

Hurts is only getting better. He played arguably the best game of his career on the biggest stage in the Superbowl.

They got arguably the best player in the draft with Carter. And then added another top 10-15 prospect at the end of the 1st round.

Eagles being good will make the Cowboys better. Teams need to rise to the level of their competition. If the division is too easy, the Cowboys wont be as good come to play off time.

Carter is super talented but plenty of red flags around this guy. Who knows how he turns out when you have grown men your having to go against.
Smith - he's so small for a DE. Can't see how he stays healthy in the NFL. Plus, his stats in college from that premium of a position were not impressive.

We'll see - but these two players they got are not sure things at all.

Carter is a downgrade from Hargrave and nolan Smith has many questions. You guys love making things way worse than they are. Remember when dak completely dissected this same eagles defense last year...

And they got 2 big named Georgia defenders last year and neither guy really even contributed.
I bet 80% of the Eagles fan base don't even know the names of the 2 guys they drafted last year.
Yea but they got the two good ones this year lol

Let's let them play a down or two before we hit the panic button. The Cowboys have a pretty good team too.

Besides, the Cowboys had Fletcher Cox who was better than Jalen Carter will ever be and we beat them a bunch of times. I am actually surprised the Eagles went DL with both picks, unless they want to play Nolan Smith at LB. Even then, spending 2 1st round picks on defense when their OL is aging is a bit surprising.
Besides Kelce probably retiring next year, they are set on the o-line. Mailata (26) and Dickerson (24) will man the left side for another seven years. Cam Jurgens (23) slides to center when Kelce leaves. Johnson (32) still wants to play another three years and shows no sign of slowing down. They will have to get a new RG next year. They have the best o-line coach in the game, a guy who turned down more money to stay in Philly. They have a crap load of comp picks next year to spend on o-line. This aging o-line mantra I keep seeing on the boards is simply wrong.

Gotta Love it, reminds me of the good old days and Jimmy vs. Buddy. Eliminate sacks and turnovers.

I don't know how good they'll be in the future because obviously things happen. They could lose their quarterback and that would change the equation. I must say though their fans have reason to be ecstatic about their draft. They have really been lucky this year with a Lotta talent falling in their lap.

Kelce and Johnson are their 2 best offensive linemen and they did lose a starting OG this year. I am not convinced Jurgens is the second coming of Jason Kelce. He show up at the combine but he has a high bar to get over when he takes over for Kelce. Johnson has some wear and tear on him. At 33 he is actually a few months older than Tyron Smith.

I think its better for us , weak NFCE has not yielded any results for us , we get blown off in the playoffs. NFC beast mode is good as then we can play the playoff teams well and may progress to championship

I hope you're right. If Jurgens is the real deal that's another 10-12 years of Kelce 2.0. I wish Tyron could stay on the field like Johnson through injuries. I hope Johnson isn't one of those Jackie Slater/Jason Peters-type players that can play forever. The guy probably metabolized enough HGH to kill three horses.
