I'd give him a contract in a heartbeat, that would make our offense one of the most powerful, lethal and dangerous in all of football. He is still only 27 too, however, there may be a lot of interest from the Niners, Panthers, Browns, etc.

If the price were right

Less than what Dez would eventually get right.

Rather spend the $$ on Allen but if motivated, Desean Jackson would be lethal on this offense + ST.

If the price was right then by all means. He is scary fast and a serious return weapon although I love Harris. I would love to have him not only because of his speed and break away ability but because we would not have to deal with him twice a year.

I think he is looking to get paid though. Make your money boo boo......in another division if not with the Pokes!

SF and Sea rumored to offering a pick for him, may not get released. SF has all kinds of picks.

I thought he would be a star when he was coming out of college. Very undersized but talent out the ying yang. But he's had a weird career. At points, he's looked like he'd be an All Pro, and then the next day you forget he's even in the league. Not really sure if it's playing in Philly, injuries, character issues, or what. It would be nasty having him opposite of Dez, but we need defense, so I wouldn't offer him more than the league minimum.

Tony doesn't have the arm strength to get it anywhere near Desean on a deep route, and that's the only route Desean wants to run now, after he almost got killed a few years ago going across the middle.

Intersting....I remember when he came out of College some draft pundits were predicting him coming to Dallas. That year the Cowboys had two first round picks and were used to draft Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins. Some were saying that he was too small for the NFL.

Anyway I don't think we have the cash to sign him.

MEsean...I'm glad he's leaving our division. He made that Philly offense crazy dangerous. I like the idea of them with just Cooper and Maclin.
