that would be such a huge loss for philly. I know chip wants to create same environment he had in college but he has to remember these are grown men not bunch of 18 year olds. It looks like market for Jackson is a 3rd rounder at best. Jets might screw this up and get desperate for Jackson with Vick now on Jets. Perfect scenario is for Eagles to get nothing for Jackson and outright release him. Then in draft they have another huge hole to fill. They still need S & DE and now WR. Teams will stack box on McCoy and if this goes down...the division is wide open. Jackson is ultra talented but does bring Compton attitude.

Like what he can do as a player but the ego that comes with it is simply not worth it. Says a lot that the Eagles are shopping him after a career pro bowl year.

If you could get him without breaking the bank then yeah, sure, you'd love to. But the guy wants big money so he isn't coming here. Not when you've got to pay Dez big money after this year.

I'm still trying to figure out how Romo is weak at throwing deep passes?

I would if we had the coach here that could motivate him and keep him happy. But, he would be disgusted with Garrett not using him properly and from the way Crayton and Holley have talked about Garrett, receivers just don't seem to like him as a coach.

I actually think if Parcells was coach, Jackson would flourish here. He would get him the ball enough and know how to chide him in order to get him motivated for playing the Eagles.

YR

I always laugh when people think adding a talented player on our offense would do wonders, with our clown HC here. We've had all sorts of talent on this offense, with our genius mastermind having a clear inability to use it. You think Garrett would move Desean all over the place like Reid or Chip did to get match-ups they wanted?

It helps the “TEAM” by potentially allowing us to score more points than we concede.

I take it you’ve never heard of the saying “Offense is the best form of defense”?

See last Superbowl why that theory NEVER works...Defense wins championships..

You still have to score points to get there in the first place.

If the Seahawks offense hadn't scored any points in the last SB, then you would have had a completely different ball game.

Again look at my first post.

I said "Team".

One should complement the other.

And again, Desean is on the outs in Philly because he wants to be the highest paid receiver in football. Never mind that he's not worth as much as he thinks he is, Dallas can't afford him anyway, especially with needing to extend Tyron and Dez in the near future.

I'd give him a contract in a heartbeat, that would make our offense one of the most powerful, lethal and dangerous in all of football. He is still only 27 too, however, there may be a lot of interest from the Niners, Panthers, Browns, etc.

I would offer him the minimum salary with a 20M roster bonus if he's on the roster for game 1. Then I would use him as a tackling dummy in training camp. He would either be beaten to a pulp and unable to play again or he would quit and they could put him on the retired list.
