No bc Romo doesn't have the arm for a speedster like that.

That starts this year. Book it.

Defense lost..........Ware and Hatcher
Defense gained......Melton coming off ACL and a couple of scrub signings.

Right now I don't see this defense being appreciably better, especially considering that our current DEs are NFL Europa quality. Hard to field a defense that is not pure crap if your DEs totally suck.

Just saying.

Well, the defense can't get worse, so........we have that to look forward too. It has to be better, but by how much? Will depend on injuries and the draft. I think they will end the season ranked between 20 and 22 defensively. Maybe that is good enough to get a playoff win or something..........

Wow, if this defense jumps 10 to 12 spots in the rankings that would be very impressive. I just don't see us improving that much with our current group of DEs.

You are right however about the defense cant be any worse, its hard to drop below 32 when there are only 32 teams.................LOL

What is Jackson good at? Running go routes.

What is Romo's weak point? Throwing deep passes.

This would be a terrible match.

Desean Jackson a Cowboy? Hell would officially freeze over IMO....he is WKG...he is a blight to a "team" concept...he is a bane to a cap...he gives up during games...he would whine to the media within the first two games when witten and dez are getting more looks (and they should, deservedly so)...he won't play the slot which means A LOT less snaps for TWill.....where are the good reasons again? why on God's green earth would you even want to consider him? because he's fast? please

Not even at the vet minimum would I do this...the negative he brings far outweighs the positive...which is why the eagles want to rid themselves of him

I would if we had the coach here that could motivate him and keep him happy. But, he would be disgusted with Garrett not using him properly and from the way Crayton and Holley have talked about Garrett, receivers just don't seem to like him as a coach.

I actually think if Parcells was coach, Jackson would flourish here. He would get him the ball enough and know how to chide him in order to get him motivated for playing the Eagles.

Actually, I think Parcells would have a jersey thrown at him if he was coaching Jackson. Same kind of mentality.

If we are gonna delegate any of our salary to a player i would rather it be a playmaker on defense. Bryant, Williams, 3A Beasley,3B Harris, we dont need anothe game changer at WR. We already pass the ball enough, and there are only so many passes to go around.

I would say yes, but this team wouldn't know how to utilize a talent like Jackson properly anyway.

I'd love his speed on our offense. But I don't even want the contract he recently signed. If he's looking for big money which he should be......naw. Look for a guy with similar traits in the draft.

in all honesty, Romo had problems with To's speed I think if we got desean we'd see a buncha passes thrown behind him and perhaps underthrown. Pass.

Heck no. The reason he's on the outs in Philly is because he wants to literally be the highest paid receiver in football while already on a really good contract. He wants Megatron+ money. Not only could Dallas not afford that, but this team doesn't need such a massive tool in the locker room.

MEsean...I'm glad he's leaving our division. He made that Philly offense crazy dangerous. I like the idea of them with just Cooper and Maclin.

I hear ya. Dont like him and dont want him but I really hope he doesnt go to the Skins or Giants.
