I for one wouldn't care if he went elsewhere. Think he's just average at best. There's so much more that goes into football gor successful teams then one pure stat.

TOP plays a huge role into the success of a football team. KM has been ranked 18th and 29th which is terrible. We actually ranked higher then KC in 2019

Redzone efficiency. 16th and 29th which isn't great at all.

We also get off to horrendously slow starts and normally play from behind against soft defenses

He also does not know how to utilize zeke to his best. Granted zeke has been trending down hill

This just shows the offense when healthy can score at will however that would all be fine and dandy if the defense wasn't a disgrace. We played our best football when we controlled TOP and let zeke control the flow of the game and wore down the opposing defense while keeping ours fresh and off the field. Zeke right now can not control the game anymore however if KM used Pollard and zeke to the full potential we could go back to controlling TOP as many teams utilize split backs to far better success

Since boy wonder is under contract for 3 years, if Philly did want to hire him would there be any compensation paid to Dallas for the hire? Draft picks? I know that's what happened with Gruden and the Oakland/Tampa Bay swap.

Great for him. They probably want an offensive HC so it will likely come down to him and the KC QB Coach who they are apparently high on.

Moore isn't a player he's a coach and no Jones can not block any coach under contract from interviewing for a coaching job with another team that the position is a promotion.
.
.
Then why have teams denied that before? And why did they ask permission?

you don't turn down opportunities to interview for head coaching positions even if you don't intend on actually accepting them.

If nothing else you build contacts.

I imagine that more has been told by Jones that he is the heir apparent to the head coaching position. Jones does show loyalty even to his detriment. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

rules changed. before the only rule was you could not deny a head coaching interview. that's why jerry denied callahan and eberflus lateral moves. Now, you can't deny interviews even for non head coaching jobs as long as it is a legit promotion from your current duties.

permission is courtesy because you are under contract to another team.

You can do that when you have a dominate OLINE, which we do not any longer.

I'll take a league leading offense over trying to win TOP stats any-day.

And you will continue to he mediocre with a few playoff appearances from time to time.

The plaoff teams who had average to below average TOP this year have average to good defenses. We do not

Fix the defensive problems then TOP becomes less of an issue however it still plays a pivotal role

I don’t know why
They fired a very good coach and I’m glad they did but really don’t understand why

I could be wrong, but it appears to me it was a difference of opinion on Wence, I think the coach had seen enough but the owner believes he can be fixed and the coach did not want to roll that way.

That’s the only logical assumption
But a coach who won with nick foles I would listen to
The owner obviously thinks he knows better
What coach would want to bet their career on a guy that a good coach couldn’t make an nfl QB
I thought Wentz could be a good QB but he just hasn’t grown as a player
