When you're the division winner, the only way to trend is sideways or down. Up isn't an option when you're at the top. Just because the Eagles are "trending up" doesn't mean they'll pass the Cowboys.
You really believe on paper Dallas is the better team right now?

There is nothing wrong with admitting a rival team looks like a tough out.

This teams trajectory is down, only to those who constantly have a gray cloud hovering over their heads. Gloom and despair.

If the Eagles were "A Saftey away" from being SB contenders then everyone is completley wrong about QB's in the NFL.......And if the Saints cut him and have a better defense with what Ive heard here is a good QB....how would the Eagles be favored over the Saints to win?

You really think that? lol

The division winner can 100% get better.

We're not at the top of anything unless you only care about division games.

This is a horrible outlook.

Keep in mind we have the Saints #1 pick. So anything we trade for him is an investment in improving that asset

Because they are a direct rival, likely our comp for the division, and any news that affects our rivals also has a potential effect on us?
Are we going to covering all of the Egirl roster moves today ? Why not cover all of our divisional rivals .

I wonder what it feels like when your team actively tries to be better via trades and free agency instead of pinning all your hopes on the draft?
It feels like the Eagles realize their defense sucks and are grasping at staws to improve it.

You hitching your wagon to the eagles huh? lol

Aside from the qb position the eagles have a loaded roster. Watching a real GM try to improve his team is painful to watch knowing ours has zero clue

Absolutely. So much for that ‘rebuilding’ many were counting on. They’ve quickly retooled on the fly and are a contender for the division. If Hurts can just drive the bus, Philly will be tough.

This is such an Eagles move.

It looks great on paper, but none of their big FA DB additions have panned out.

At the end of the day, Hurts is still their QB. I'm not worried.

They are improved but they lack in a couple of KEY areas.

1. Qb
2. Offensive and Defensive Coordinators.

Our coaching is far beyond what the Eagles have. Quinn alone makes us better than them.

Also, their defense is extremely overrated, even with the additions.

The problem is ours is Owner/GM. These other teams are able to work trades because their GMs are talking in the GM realm and have relationships there. The Cowboys’ “GM” operates and communicates in the owner realm. Owners don’t facilitate or discuss trading players.

I didn't know being a division winner was the pinnacle or barometer of success.

PS: It's not.

The Cowboys have plenty of room to "trend up"; they're just intentionally not doing so.
