If the Eagles were "A Saftey away" from being SB contenders then everyone is completley wrong about QB's in the NFL.......And if the Saints cut him and have a better defense with what Ive heard here is a good QB....how would the Eagles be favored over the Saints to win?

The Cowboys have plenty of room to "trend up"; they're just intentionally not doing so.

meh, you nor anyone on this site has the visibility to the conversations that are going on behind the doors at the Star. Wait till we get through cuts and let the situation continue to play out, they will have to add depth simply to fill out the roster at Tackle

When you're the division winner, the only way to trend is sideways or down. Up isn't an option when you're at the top. Just because the Eagles are "trending up" doesn't mean they'll pass the Cowboys.

I respectfully disagree jumbo, as a division winner your goal is to take the next step which is winning the wildcard or divisional round. That’s an upward move for the Cowboys and they don’t appear to have done anything to trend upwards to accomplish either. Eagles on the other hand are not solely looking to just overtake Dallas and win the division I’m sure they have set their sights a lot higher.

If we sweep Philly, it will be because our defense is improved and their offense is led by Hurts IMO. The Eagles have had a good offseason and are continuing to build on that, but the biggest question is whether their QB is going to be better.
