LVE was playing well, but Leonard is only 28 and has been in the league a year less than Malik Hooker.

I'm hoping he comes here

Why is everyone assuming Leonard can still play? The Colts cut him because he has ben terrible since he was injured. Has Byard helped the Eagles secondary? Not really. There are no miracle workers out there this time of year. If the Eagles sign Leonard he will ne a JAG not a difference maker. But it show that the Eagles know their defense is vulnerable and they need help.

Reagor definitely sucked. Both Dillard and Barnett were serviceable. Given that over 50% of First Round picks in the NFL fail, both Dillard and Barnett are average … nothing more, nothing less.
You expect more than average in the 1st round. You can get average in the 6th round....busts.

You are confusing Hope with Expectation (Reality) Here is what the actual Expectation chart looks like. Dillard was pick 22. Reagor was pick 21 Barnett was pick 14. None of them achieved that status, You don't get average in the 6th round. You get a wing and a prayer.

The Eagles know when to cut their losses and know how to get players they need and how to fit them into the cap projection. I hate em but they know how to build a team.

You clearly live in a binary world ... either plus or minus. The world we live in is neither black nor white, but rather many shades of gray. Reagor is a bust, neither of the other two were. They delivered tangible value at meaningful times during their careers. Barnett recovered a fumble in the Super Bowl win.

He could beat up Thor and Hulk and I’d still say he’s a bust. It’s ok to say he’s a bust. Wentz is a bust too but he did help win a SB that year. It happens.

I thought Barnett was one of the major pieces to their line. He's definitely better than Leonard isn't he?
Leonard was miles above Barnett when they were both at their best a few years ago. Not sure where either of them would stand today

Bears needed Carter more than Philly. Their fans were screaming to draft him. Falcons and Raiders too. Stupid Falcons HC isn't even using Bijan properly. All three of those teams sucked and might gladly take Carter if a redraft was allowed. It's never a no brainer with character issues. Just stop already.
I think the team that really blew it was Detroit but they trade back from taking Carter to draft a RB when they had Swift. Dumb. Hutchinson and Carter would be big for them.
