I think the Eagles needed to do the McNabb surgery. If they'd done it Monday. McNabb would only have missed 3 games. He'd be back and healthy for the Monday night game against Dallas.

I'd venture without McNabb Philly could go 1-2 over those three games. They'd be 4-4 with a healthy star QB. Philly could easily win 6 of the next 10 giving them a 10-6 record going into the playoffs with a Healthy mcNabb.

Isn't that better than going in at 12-4 with a beaten up Mcnabb against much better defenses in the NFC this year?

That's a big IF..... IF he can recover in four weeks. Brian Cox says it takes longer. We don't know how severe the injury is.

We will be fresh coming off a bye. The extra week to prepare could be the difference.

Hope it helps us more than the 10-day rest we had after Thanksgiving before going up to Philly in 2003. Although this Cowboys team might be better after a short week than that 2003 team was after a bye.

Since when can you make serious adjustment decisions for the Eagles? If this isn't Andy Reid, then you're all hot air about adjustments of any kind as it applies to the Eagles.

I just picked up Eli Manning, Tiki Barber and the Giants "D" on my fantasy team. It's the kiss of death I tell you...... I added Philly's "D" last week and look what happened!!!!! Anybody considering QC has to be considered EXTREMELY DESPERATE, hey even Vinny got picked off the couch before him. Seriously Ricky was a head case in Texas, they just hid his wierdness, in fact they shipped his pregnant girlfriend to I think it was England til after the Heisman was announced. ricky by the way would have not been Big 12 eligible if he had not been befriended by a caring adult who got him into some remedial tutoring, he was diagnosed with a learning disorder in high school, got a friend who sells college prospects of America, he was one of their guys, they turned it around for him or he wouldn't even have made a major college..
