Just get Eric Reid in here and move on...no draft compensation and half the salary.

Alright little camper, let's see what you have here.

Hmmm.

One first one cites Jason LaCanfora's delusions. Not a thing there has any relevance.

The second starts with this:

Two reports out of Dallas Wednesday stated that the Seahawks and Cowboys have had talks about a trade for Earl Thomas but that they haven't gotten far.

Really? It even cites Fisher and JJT. The exact thing I was referring to.

The third?

It was from TEN DAYS AGO.

You usually have weak sauce, Fuzzy. But this one, well, it takes the damn cake. Just a lazy, sad little effort from you.

Please try to prepare next time. I would like to say I expect more out of you but that would be lying.

Let's just say I want to help you appear nearly as smart as you think you are.

@WillieBeamen , you might want to retract your like for his post.

They reported it. For your narrative to hold water they would need to contradict it. They don't but instead carry the report.

The only thing that is weak is your understanding how basic journalism works. Well that and the relative size of the media contingent following the Cowboys nationally and locally as opposed to Seattle's. What do small market mean? How do they work?

Oh and since when is La Canfora from Dallas or become a Dallas beat reporter?

BTW, I only pulled the top few stories from the Seattle paper. It certainly wasn't very hard to contradict the narrative you are going for here.

Oh and exactly how smart do I think I am? I must say your comment about other's being butthurt is delicious irony given that little diatribe. Anywho, such diatribes are not really about me being smart but rather me being smarter than you. Your worried and it shows, peaches. How droll.

You just made my point. There are a lot of "what ifs" surrounding this team. You don't just throw #1 picks around with that many what ifs. Does Earl Thomas put us in the Super Bowl? If the answer is yes, then you can "just go for it." That isn't the case with this team. Way to many question marks on this team to be throwing a #1 draft pick around.

Your babbling just states a simple fact. You did not accomplish a damn thing you set out to do.

My point was simple, it was all from Dallas. Nothing from Seattle. That was all.

You decided to butt in, like you had a point.

You didn't and now you try to start another discussion.

But it is cute how you are spinning around like a ballerina, trying to be graceful.

Bless your heart.
Sorry, not interested. I said it earlier, I am really not in the mood for you.

You bore me.

Since 1996 (21 years now) we have finished 9-7 ot worse 15 times. Clearly what we are doing is not working, in the last decade (since we have been frugal) we have fi ished 9-7 or worse 7 times. Sitting on draft picks and dumpster diving isnt working. Take a chance already...

We went for broke in 2012. Didn't work out.

Nevermind we had the unholy combination of Jason Garrett on offense and Rob Ryan on defense that contributed to making it a failure.

We can never ever do that kind of thing again.

Trust Jerry and Stephen Jones. They know what works and what doesn't.

:lmao2: Not interested. Is that why you are being so ugly? You've got all kinds of feelings going on and it shows. That is why you are looking up gifs, comparing mental epeens and trying to be dismissive because you think that makes you look better. It's sad frankly.

I like how you blithely talk past the discussion of how journalism works and the relevance of the Seattle paper -there is only one- carrying the report. You really don't know how small market sports coverage works.

And where do you think La Canfora is from? The national and Cowboys media is reporting it and the small Seattle market is carrying the story. You think that is significant and means they are lying. How adorable.

I read that ppl dont want to give ET a big contract because of his age but are wanting to give zack martin big money. Newsflash Et is ONE year older than Martin. So the age argument isnt really valid imho.

Think we can still get him for Scandrick and a 3rd guys?

I never said we could. I would say that this is our final offer and that's only if I can get back into the 3rd. Whitehead just signed with the Raiders and he would've been a perfect fit in Dallas. If I'm Stephen Jones, I'm calling the Seahawks right now and telling GM John Schneider that you have an hour to agree or we're moving on to fill other needs. Not only that, I''m calling every media source and telling them that we're officially out of the running. Good luck with the bidding war without our name attached to it. Bye.

Oh and btw @Alexander, it seems to me that both teams are negotiating through the media. That is where "the price is too high" and "there are several teams bidding" narratives are coming from. I'll let you figure out who is saying what.

Dallas needs to start playing the game to. Schedule Vacarro and Boston for visits and see if the price comes down.
