They not only past on Wentz but reportedly fired some scouts that had Wentz #1.

Here's Wentz mocking the crucifixion. If you look at the angle of the arms he's clearly stating he's broken free, hence the thumbs up. He did all of this as well as read the formations and getting the right play called within the 40 second play clock.

Another sign I noticed during that game. Wentz ran out of bounds on the Eagles sideline and split two coolers filled with a red liquid which I am assuming to be Hi-C fruit punch. It took me a minute to realize I just watched this sucker part the red C.

Just a couple of things I've noticed. Go Steelers, though.

I'll say this, the old Commanders would have re-signed Cousins to a huge deal. This regime is much smarter.

If Wentz develops into a great QB it will be another bitter pill for the Browns. They probably would have screwed Wentz up anyway. Sometimes I think it's not the QBs that are the problem, it's the organization.

I can't believe anyone bought into Cousins last season. He feasted off weak teams and lost to any team with a pulse. He's terrible.

They are destined to fail. They pass on Wentz, the team they trade with gets Wentz and now they are winning games with this QB and dropping their 1st round pick down the draft order. The Eagles will live a charmed existence this year if only as to play a role in the curse of the Cleveland Browns.
