Good to see Saquon Barkley looking like his old self. He did get snatched from behind twice today so the top end aint what it used to be.. but dude is totin the rock today. Welcome back young man.

The NFC East isn’t going to be the push over it has been. The Cowboys better be ready to play tonight or they’ll be in the basement after week one.

The Giants have shown grit today. Win or lose. Gusty call going for two. Gives confidence to a team. Now let's see if the defense can step up.

The NFC East looks improved thus far.

One thing I pay great attention to is line play. Hurts doesn’t step into the pocket, has poor vision, and locks onto a receiver too often. I am a line nerd since my playing and coaching days. I keep a counter and check plays all game. Yes, I do this and maybe I’m a bit weird, but line play determines the outcome of games more than anything else. I was counting and saying to myself if we had their line, we would be legit contenders. That line is wasted on Hurts.
I won't even sit here and lie and say i'm focusing on the line as much as you are but from my vantage point they were getting pressure with 4 and he'd bail out with his legs and get some yards. This mostly happened in the 2nd half.

Like I said man I watched every second of that game and if we're going to assume that rushing attack is what we have waiting for us when we play them? Let's assume the same for their rush defense. Philly faced a bad opponent today and won by 3.

I don't expect a beat down. These games will be close. But the same flaws the Eagles had last season were still there today and more. Hurts bailed them out with his legs and I don't see Hurts doing that to us unless Micah and Lawrence are hurt.

Philly has gotten better. They’ll be more formidable this season than last season. If the Cowboys don’t play well tonight they’ll be in the basement in the NFC East after week one. Everyone in the division showed fight today we’ll see if the Cowboys show any.

Rams flopped, 9ers flopped, Cardinals flopped, Saints flopped, Packers flopped.

You never know how this'll play out. Commanders or Cowboys or Eagles could be a top 3 NFC team.

50% is about you, and 50% is about your adversity

NFL is a year to year league. So much parity. Playoff teams can lose a few guys in the off season and not make the playoffs the next. Team that was close to playoffs can add a guy or 2 and make a deep playoff run. We really need to wait 1/4 into the season before proclaiming anything.

Not sure we can call the Lions bad just yet
All I can do is go by what I saw today and last season.....and it was a bad undisciplined team. Now that could change. They play hard for sure but I think they just don't have the talent to win consistently.
