Coaches, no matter how good they are, require players. But consider that it wasn’t Bill that championed selecting Brady, it was a scout, and Brady was going to be cut his rookie training camp before injuries (like Romo), it’s not like Bill should get credit for “discovering” Brady. He does get credit for staying out of his way once Brady showed himself.
