Early wide receiver unit rankings - Cowboys at 5

Of course anyone would, but that doesn’t correlate to my original post
Your original post was agreeing that it's a coinflip between the Dal and Jax corps, and then highlighting that 2 years ago Ridley had a season better than the one Lamb just had. So I guess directly, would you rank Jax or Dal higher?

I would take Jax higher, I like what they have beyond Ridley a lot better than what Dallas has beyond Lamb

We should be in the ball park to compete this year. If Tolbert or Fehoko or Drummond come all the better. If you expand the list to pass catchers the 49ers would get McCaffrey and Kittle and the Eagles would get Goedert. We would add Schoon and the two RBs Luepke and Vaughn who are both plus receivers.

Every single one of those 1000+ yard seasons he was overwhelmingly the #1 WR on his team and was force fed the ball. There was one season in between though where he was the #2: when Kupp emerged in LAR 2019, Cooks had only 500 yards receiving despite playing over 700 snaps that year. He is not a full toolbox outside WR, he is a compliment to what Dallas already has.

Ridley’s monster season was bigger than anything Cooks has ever done by nearly 200 yards, and he didn’t even play all 16 games. On top of that, he was the #2 to Julio for more than half the season before Julio got hurt, where JJ was on pace for 1300 yards himself.

Ridley is 2 years removed from his big year, but not due to declining production. And the Dude is still only 28
It will be one of those under-the-radar stories this upcoming season.
Has Calvin Ridley overcome his personal issues away from his profession...and in his new NFL environment resurface as a quality player?
