VERY GOOD READ!
Jerry paying Dak that ludicrous contract, making him the highest player in the NFL certainly does not mean that Dak is anywhere close to being the best player in the league let alone the best QB in the league.Yeah, can't trust the highest paid NFL player to do his job. No one should expect him to actually carry the team or anything.
He's nowhere near those guys but because of desperation we paid him to be soThis is literally the only way you can win with a QB like Dak. Look at what the Ravens did with Dilfer. That is what you need for Dak. Dak is incapable of carrying this offense in any meaningful way you would expect. We can dispel with this notion that he is somehow on par with Mahomes, Burrow or Allen and actually recongize what we have, a below average QB who should not be expected to be leaned on when the need arises.
We are witnessing what happens when you let one guy bottleneck what your entire franchise can do.We need a more Dak friendly team!
Lets start with the Cowboys offensive line of the 90's, the 1985 Bears Defense and the Rams greatest show on turf of the late 1990's to early 2000's.
Of course a new HC and OC because Dak obviously has issues with these guys too.
Please let me know what else we need to help the highest paid player in NFL history win consecutive playoff games.
That's the tough thing to swallow. If you're highest paid at your position, you need to be "that guy" every week, every game.Yeah, can't trust the highest paid NFL player to do his job. No one should expect him to actually carry the team or anything.
He's had enough all those players are gone yet he's still here sadlyWe need a more Dak friendly team!

Which Jerry found out real quick that paying someone money isn't going to magically transform them into something they are not. He's nowhere near those guys but because of desperation we paid him to be so
I TOTALLY AGREE and it's what makes him happy, so if another coach comes in he's going to tell them that this is what makes him the best when it should be trying something differentStupid premise, Ed.
Of course Mike is capable of doing that. The question is, would Jerry and Dak stand for that? The answer is obviously no. Dak has tremendous latitude and influence here as the Franchise QB and Jerry Favorite. They're the ones determining this, not the head coach.

When I said this the other day you came in with your low football iq pretending we had an elite defense before with dak. This is literally the only way you can win with a QB like Dak.
