It is a "statistical fact"...that we aren't giving Zeke the amount carries it takes to get the yards you demand.

We need both Zeke and Tony to make this happen. Let's try to cheer both of them on as best as we can.

I do, I cheer for everyone on the team.

We can agree to disagree bc you clearly are set no matter what kind of actual facts say otherwise. I don’t demand anything - just call it like I see it…again with facts and actual data.

I don't think people understand this type of football anymore. Zeke gets 15 carries all game. Emmitt would have had that on the first drive of the game
Exactly. These children coming at me like zeke should get 200 yards a game on 14 carries?

Please....

Then act impressed that Pollard rubs off a 20 yard TD rush every 10 or 15 carries?

Like we didn't see randle rub off a 40 yarder all the time. Until he got the #1 spot then flaked.

To be clear I want both Zeke and Tony very active in our run game. KM relied on them with Cooper can he dare do the same with Dak?

Chubb is with a different team different coaches and different mindset.

Do they run Chubb three times up the clogged middle and then pass 45 times the rest of the game?

So don't come at me like that...not having it.

You blame Zeke for his decreased performance and he is NOT to blame. Hater.

Lol…keep calling me a hater, makes your argument look stronger by the minute.

The problem is you think your opinion is a "fact".

Sorry buddy...your opinion is NOT a fact..no matter how much you think of yourself.

You have no NFL team let alone a Lombardi. You are just as JAG same as the rest of us. "facts and actual data"...lo...dude....come on.

"Oooh Zeke doesn't get the same yards with 12 carries a game than he did with 25..he SUCKS!"

"How many yards did Emmitt get with 25 carries a game?"

"It's a different NFL"

Welll show us your Lombardi then Mr. Expert!

Come on...do it!

It does suck that I have to tell you you're JAG...I know. Suck it up. We are all right there with you...if you can admit it.

Don’t need to, the fact that Elliot’s carries are shrinking and Pollard is getting more carries should tell the story.

Yes I’m a JAG…casual fan, but everything the coaches and front office is doing proves my point wayyyyyyyyyyy more than it does yours.

This guy the OP is stupid and despite what he said, he is not a fan of Zeke, he wants Pollard in there all the time but that would never work, because Pollard is not that type of RB. Pollard is good in doses.
He is not a player that a team can count on the whole game. You use Pollard in doses pick your spots and hope he produces

Two different backs in Elliott and Pollard.

At this point the homerun aspect of Zeke's game is gone. But he is still a powerful between the tackles runner that finishes, has great vision and balance, and is as effective a pass blocking RB as there is in football. He's still got some burst and wiggle, not the same as four-plus years ago, but still some.

Pollard is the explosive big play back. You get him out in space, toss it to him to attack the perimeter, even send him on some wheel routes and such. But we have seen that he is a liability in pass protection; and he also may not be as productive if you give him 20-plus carries per game as opposed to 10-15 touches (runs and catches) combined. The Cowboys need to find the best way to split their workload so each is effective. I think they are doing a better job of that this season so far.

I am fine with the way coaches are running the RB's. I am fine with Zeke's reduced role and stats.

But it's BS to compare them to 2016 and call him a burned out bum about it. Without the same numbers (carries)...it's just your OPINION..and NOT fact.

There may come a game where we can afford to give zeke those 20+ carries. We shall see.

You are saying something very important here. "get pollard in space".

We OF COURSE he's gonna have better opportunity for big yards than Zeke having to plow up the clogged middle.

It's a very simple concept the some people refuse to acknowledge.

Yeah.. Chubb gets a full YARD more before contact than Zeke does.. 3.2 to 2.2. I don't think people begin to understand how huge that is. It's the difference between being hit for the first time by a linebacker or a safety and being hit by linemen.. The Browns may not be a great team, but Stefanski and CO. know how to scheme up the running game. I am constantly amazed at the number of times I see Chubb and Hunt get to the second level untouched. Now I realize that they don't have a top tier QB (yet) so they have recognized that this is far and away their only chance to win games. They treat it (the run game) like a priority... The Cowboys treat it like it's a nuisance. Or a placeholder while they cook up the next pass.

well 2 drives but yes we are u agreement.

i mean we can stay in todays game big backs say lie henry last year and this yaear,, they share similar production zeke this year 4.1 henry 3.9 both inured last year didfense zeke toughed it out stayed play and got to 1k..this is what happens to power backs..

fans always bring in money but what have the top paid RBs done the last 3+ years

Cmac always hurt now traded highest paid back not living up to the contract
Kamara since ingram left and he becae the guy inured a lot and his numbers went down not living up to his contract

T-2. Ezekiel Elliot, Cowboys: $15 million ($90 million over 6 years)

T-2. Alvin Kamara, Saints: $15 million ($75 million over 5 years)

4. Dalvin Cook, Vikings: $12.6 million ($63 million over 5 years)

5. Derrick Henry, Titans: $12.5 million ($50 million over 4 years)

6. Nick Chubb, Browns $12.2 million ($36.6 million over 3 years)

7. Aaron Jones, Packers: $12 million ($48 million over 4 years)

8. Joe Mixon, Bengals: $12 million ($48 million over 4 years)

9. Saquon Barkley, Giants: $7.79 million ($31.1 million over 4 years)

so on that list outside of Chubb right now is consistently year in and year out blowing up the league..none really ALL had their moments but look at this year so far many are right around zekes output and zekes one of the only one splitting carries nearly down the middle...His YPC the first half of the last 3 years have been close to his normal averages, hes played pretty well, given more carries he may not be 2016 zeke but close to 18/19 zeke. Of course Zeks not the same player year 7 , neither was ES22...difference is the Offense we they are in and they kept feeding Emmitt no matter what. thast not the type of offense Moore runs(pun intended)

this is the same at most position and at QB etc not many of the top 10 qbs are having great years in 22 many have been pretty inconsistent. just because you have giant contract or highly ranked, doesn't mean you just play at the highest level because factors on the TEAM change that,

I feel the same way about the quarterback

Well we won 6 games with a QB like Dalton and then 12 with Dak the next year. So there is your difference. To win big in the playoffs you need more than a good QB. You need a compete team.

Okay cool. Let's shift the point of my post!

Okay fine...you didn't call him a bum. You're blaming him for reduced numbers when it's what the coaches want...not because he can't do it.

Kellen uses the run as a sidebar in his attack and as long as it works I really can't complain . In the strategic sense It comes off as not knowing (which I'm sure he does) how to play the time of possession / field position / defensive type games. We have a defense that works although, I'm unsure that they can stop a team committed to the run.

Looking at the mountain these rb's have to climb It makes what #22 did even more impressive. I'm definitely bias in that sense I want to use zeke similarly. The formula works. Especially now when defenses are geared toward stopping wide open, high flying offenses. Few teams can withstand a potent ground game but even fewer will run their offense through one.
