I do not understand why the scumbag owners have to charge 35k just for the right to pay him another 2k a year in season tickets.

Guess what you need to off set the cost of the owners bending over fans for the almighty dollar as well. So i don't really care that those people sold there ticket for a profit. The owners are gouging people for tickets as well. Lets not even get into some of the other practices where teams lets ticket companies buy block sets to sell etc etc. and some other shady practices that owners of sports teams have been caught up in.

While I agree with the sentiment, GB was nowhere near 40-45% of the fans in attendance last night. I would guess it was actually closer to 10%. Still that is way, way too much. It says something for GB fans, however, that they would travel in such numbers for a Thursday night game. I spoke with a couple of fans and they said the waiting list in GB is 33 YEARS for season tickets so they travel to away games because that is easier than seeing a game in GB.

Not in my section, not in the lower levels, not in the stadium.

Your talking about the new stadium, your talking about the club level seats in the mid level, that are catered. They are the expensive seats. We dont know the prices on normal seats yet.

Texas Stadium is no different than any other place GB plays.

They ALWAYS have a ton of fans at every game. Best supported team in the NFL.

When the Packers played at Indianapolis in 2004, the Colts made anyone who wanted a ticket to that game to buy both pre-season games as well. They were afraid the RCA Dome would turn into Lambeaudome. Colts fans are fair weather fans.

I was at the Cowboys-Packers game at County Stadium in 1991 and there were more than a few Cowboys fans at the game. Maybe not 10% but Cowboys fans were well represented. They were also very friendly.

I was shocked last night by how many GB fans there were at the bar I went to -- I live in California and it must have been at least 95% GB fans -- someone threw a cheese curd at me when I went to the bathroom.

I didn't know this until Rich Eisen pointed it out last night. No current Cowboy has won a playoff game in a Dallas uniform and Wade Phillips is a career 0-3 in the playoffs.

How many playoff games had the bears won before last year?

We are a young team, just as young as you and actually after the next draft I bet we are younger than you guys.

Oh and we have had 4 out of the last 5 seasons as winning seasons and we have made the playoffs 3 out of the last 5 years.

This team has been developing, but because parcells was larger than life and owens was and is too, the lazy media made them out to be super bowl or bust. Which is totally untrue, this team learned alot of lessons last year. MOst good teams lose in the playoffs before they win.

I am pretty tired of the havent won a playoff game since xxxx talk.

Totally agree. I own two seats in the lower level around the 50 yard line. I am a diehard cowboy fan that travels from New Mexico to see the games
(99.00 flight through Southwest). But with the new stadium prices there is no way i can keep my seats. I am a blue collered worker with a wife and three kids. So i will give them up to some corperation that will buy them and give them away as perks to their clients. This means less cowboy fans and more fans of other teams who will see the game as a perk.

Unfortunantly many of the seat owners in the lower bowl between the 20 yard line are older people who have owned the seats your years and would rather sit and watch then be loud and proud. This will only get worse in the new stadium as it will be the people with big bucks owning these seats rather then a true Cowboys fan who is there to enjoy their favorite team.
