Is that why I predicted the demise of Zeke and the rise of Pollard and you blew the analysis completely?

You look up at me when it comes to football. And certainly in the Zeke/Pollard argument.

You got completely destroyed! Bow to me
Pollard has not "risen" yet.

When he wins the rushing 'ship....we'll talk. Pulling for him.

400 rushes
1800 yards
22 TDs

Last two seasons.

Works for me.
Your numbers
400 1800 = 4.5 ypc

Actual numbers
468 1878 = 4.0 ypc

You rounded away 68 rushes for 78 yards for 1.1ypc.

Huge difference between a RB at 4.5ypc and 4.0ypc. If Zeke were making 4.5ypc, sure, keep him on the field. Not at 4.0 ypc.

*Under* 4.0 is where a RB just needs to be gone. Zeke was 3.8ypc this year.
Even 3.9ypTch. That's just sad.

2020 4.0 ypc 4.8 ypTrg 4.4ypTch
2021 4.2 ypc 4.4 ypTrg 4.5ypTch
2022 3.8 yoc 4.0 ypTrg 3.9ypTch

That's mediocre to pitiful.

Malik Davis, a scrub, was 4.2ypc this year.

Good luck with the darts. Why draft one then, just sign an UDFA later on. Then be worse off then what some fans say we are now.
This has to one of the worst logic opinions I heard about player selection.
People are mistaking "can" with "will".

You *can* get decent RBs through the mid rounds. Doesn't mean that you *will*.

If we had a guy we had played this year who looked good, sure, think about moving on from Pollard. Save money but have a worse back. Fine. I don't agree, but its arguable. But Malik Davis is just not starter material.

Betting your running game on hoping your draft picks work out isn't a good plan. Especially when the alternative is a top RB for 10mil. Pollard isn't just average. He's good to elite, and poorly utilized at that.

So, this is one of the former players, hall of famer, forgot more football than we ever knew, blah, blah, blah, who's opinion we will not trust?

They have a decent back in Davis and they can draft some very good backs. It is a very deep draft at running back.

You can throw a dart at a draft board blind folded and get a good running back. It's not complicated when you get to pick from the best talent on earth.

FTR - played football up to JC level.
I love the "if you've never played a down of football, you aren't qualified to debate football matters" theory. I made an interception during recess one day in fifth grade. So I can speak to secondary matters at least.

Davis is what he is, a decent back that can come in and make some plays. He is not the answer as a starter.
There are more needs than at RB. They will be just as well off to restructure Zeke, but do it so they can get out of it with less of a cap impact. Fix the OL and with Moore gone, the play calls and schemes will be a big difference.

The most damning evidence is that Pollard the last 4 years in the same offense is well over 5 ypc and at times 6 ypc. Just goes to show show what the horrid Zeke is leaving on the table every time he gets the ball.

Davis sucks as does your hero Zeke.

Zeke has made a complete mockery out of your support and love.

Could you look ANY worse?

Actually you could. You just told me "Zeke is what makes our offense hum"?

Well Dak certainly doesn't make it hum either. He makes opposing defenses hum with pick 6's.

You equate ypc to only rb.
Not o line or oc. None. Thats mediocre to pitiful.

Even pollard is forced to "showcase his speed to the edge".....when he should be racking yards up the field.

Okay....curbstomp zeke....fine. but fix this blasted o line and scheme.

Goes to show how ignorant you really are about football. You hated zeke from the get go...even as rushing champ.
As if a bama fan still sore about 2014.
Dont pretend you have this sudden distaste because of declining performance. Im not stupid.

Zeke can still be good in situation football, but he can't be the Bull anymore. By the end of this season his tank was running on fumes.
Yep, that’s two years in a row. Last year he had knee issues and played through it and he looked bad. This season he had a knee issue and they wisely tested him and he still played bad again down the stretch. There’s no excuse unfortunately. It’s not his felt , not everyone is Adrian Peterson. He tried and he’s done.

It's as stupid as claiming you need to be Iron Chef Morimoto before you can complain that your food doesn't taste right.

Shut up, Emmitt!
Zeke can't run anymore, why tf would they need him?
At least, he got the Malik Davis part right until they draft a RB in the 3rd round.
