See- here is where you guys are taking the various comments stated by Emmit and others, including me, the wrong way. Tony is suppose to have a life outside of football. I think this Jessica crap is invading football and it's only going to get worst. The media is going to eat Tony alive. This may be Wade down fall. You guys no how it works; the media is deadly.

Being a QB for the Cowboys should be enough pressure for Tony to deal with. All of this other stuff, he simply doesn't need. Emmit knows from experience. That's why he can talk the talk, so respect what Emmit says- the Cowboys won at least three rings doing it with a QB that did not get caugh up in a media frenzy all off season. When Tony wins a ring, then you can bash Emmit for his comment. But until then, you have to respect the wisdom of Emmit, Randy White and perhaps others who have spoke on the issue. I do and agree with each one of them!

Emmitt is entitled to his opinion but it is Romo life and if he is doing the job then I don't see where anyone has the right to say anything about how he lives it or who he dates, if she goes to the game or not. She was at the Packers game Romo had an outstanding game but she goes to the game vs Philly and all of a sudden she is a distraction and a bad luck charm? You guys need to get a life and stay out of Romo's.

There is no reason what so ever to think Simpson is a distraction in 1 year (his 1st as full time starter) Romo went out and broke several Cowboys passing record held by the likes of Staubach and Aikman so that distraction evidently did not mean that much. Romo has a personal life whether you like it or not and as long as he is doing the job and staying out of trouble it really is no one’s business except for Tony Romo.

His personal life is just that personal all I care about is his ability to play the game, no excuses. You would have to be pretty weak minded to allow the media and fans to dictate your life and how you live it. It all comes down to winning and losing, you win no one cares you lose and everyone and their brother will come up with reason for the failure. Danny White was a very good QB but caught hell because we did not win it all it comes with the job and Romo understand that.

The only difference in these 2 situations is how the Media is now and then.

This topic of Romo daring to have a friggen life off the field has gotten beyond old. The people out there that think he should be eating, sleeping, and breathing football 24/7, 365 need to either shut up or start leading by example with their chosen professions.

If the team plays bad at all this year it'll be Romo's fault for dating Simpson or because she's distracting him. As has been said before (everywhere) when the team wins the qb gets the praise but when the team loses the qb gets the blame. It doesn't matter who Romo dates the blame will be on him and how he wad distracted. I guess that's the life of a cowboys qb, which he signed up for so hopefully he understands that.

Jerry makes the checks and signs them there for if he doesn't mind you honestly shouldn't eather. Wade seems not to have a problem with it and apparently no one on the current cowboys team has a problem with it. So why is others trying to run his life. If this is the case buy your own team and u tell the players-who to date-when to date-what to eat- when to go to the restroom-when to drive-when his free time is-who to look at-what time to look at- and you run there life's.Simple as that! See how long they play for your team. Doesn't get any easer then this! Gosh tony has 1 full year of play and they expect him to win super bowls already!!!! Gosh tony isn't magic!!!!
