I was rooting for West Ham to beat Villa - who shouldn't have been in that position - but the worthless Irons couldn't get it done.

I did enjoy Bournemouth smoking Everton. Hope the Cherries find their way back soon.

I hope we come back as well, and it's a pity that the Irons are as useless as they are.

I don't think Ake is a starter for a top 4 side YET but 40M is cheap for a guy with potential to be elite.
I wanted him at Chelsea to be a younger, higher upside version of Rudi but I wouldn't have seen him as a regular starter next year.
Teams starved for youth may see more reason to push him into the lineup.

Delighted for KT, looking forward to the real football starting back tomorrow. Going to be weird seeing the stadium empty.

Sorry to go slightly off topic, i see they decided to do euro cup 2021 june/july. Gonna be busy 2021 & 2022 with world cup. I'm thinking Croatia won't make much noise in either due to age and no real replacments. Havent been following up so not really sure. Hows England looking for these two events atm?

I will be stunned and amazed if England aren't two years away from being European and World champions.

Seems I probably won't need to get used to it. Just had the second round of fixtures, one game postponed as 8 players from one team went out to a bar the night of the first game, 2 caught the virus and the other 6 had to self isolate. Another team had a player miss the 2nd week after a false positive test and my team had an injured player throw his girlfriend a surprise birthday party at his house breaking bubble restrictions and then tonight it's emerged that one of our players unbeknownst to the club went to Spain for 4 days then rather than quarentine on his return per government guidelines played the following day.
Suspect Scottish football is not long for this world

I use this thread for any/most Football/Soccer talk, i know it's not meant for that but i don't want to start a new thread for 3 or 4 posts, sorry. Anyway on Sunday i was looking for Serie A games usually on ESPN and there was none to be found, not sure why there wasn't any games on. Is that league finished atm or cancelled? Maybe ESPN just didn't want to air any games this weekend?
