There isn’t any “facts” that prove Romo was better than Dak. Dak has more division titles, more playoff appearances and a better winning percentage than Romo. Dak has a higher career passer rating and completion percentage. Dak has the franchise record in TDs for a season and the most 400 yard games. He’s on pace to break all of Romo’s passing records. He has wins over Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady in a playoff game. Good luck finding a single “fact” that shows Romo was better than Dak.
I thought football was a team game? Different teams. Romo in his prime with this team or Dak in his prime with Romo's teams. Who you taking?

Romo didn't play terribly in any of his playoff games. He did play bad against Minnesota in 2009. Played really good against philly in 2009 to get into the playoffs and really good again to beat Philly the next week. Played good against the Giants in 2007, led a 9 minute drive to take the lead before half and the defense let the Giants score in 43 seconds. Hit Patrick Crayton for a wide open touchdown (no one within 30 yards) and Crayton dropped it. Played really good against Detroit is 2014 and had a 143 rating in the cold against Green bay. Dak has played putrid in the majorty of his playoff games. His play cost the team games. Romo's did not. Not the same at all.

Really? Romo beat Rodgers, Brees and Roethlisberger so that argument is pointless.

Dak is almost mirror image of Romo. On that the article is true. Matt Ryan had a similar career before producing the all-time Super Bowl collapse against the Patriots.

Peyton Manning had a close career path too. Easily forgotten. HOWEVER, Manning did make it to an AFC Conference Championship in his 4th season after 3 season of Wild card or Division choke jobs. Adding his Tennessee career, probably best story of someone rebounding from a choker tag to winner greatness.

I don't include guys like Elway and Steve Young who battled it out in quite a few Super Bowls or Conference Championships before getting the monkey off their back. Or even Marino who went to SBs early and never could get back. Dak still isn't in their league.
He is Romo right down to not throwing the ball away to avoid a sack.

That’s not how it works my man. Adding extra games to make Romo look worse when the discussion is playoff games is disingenuous junk. Stop that.
KJJ always adds those games to make him look worse. I believe all of those games were on the road with middling teams with porous offensive lines that only had a chance to go the playoffs because of Romo. This idea that Romo is a choker is just a myth. He had 24 game winning drives in the 4th quarter and one of the highest ratings in them.

But did he beat Goat Brady?
lol...here we go...with this again. Tell us all how Dak made Brady retire. Dak can make the GOAT retire but he can't get his team to win a playoff game unless the team stinks like Brady's team did that year. His team should have never been in the playoffs. Something wrong with that picture.

Goat Brady belonged in the playoffs. His team had injuries. He’s still the goat.

The drive started at the Giants 48 with 1:50 left. He had plenty of time to lead us to the winning score but threw 4 incompletions before throwing the pick. After missing on the other throws he was down to a Hail Mary. I’ve never pinned the entire loss on him. Our defense didn’t get it done that day. They hardly laid a hand on Eli who kept the chains moving on practically every 3rd down but Romo wasn’t sharp, completing only 50% of his passes after completing almost 65% during the regular season. The bottom line is Romo wasn’t a good big game QB and Dak is running into the same problem.
The game is free on youtube if you want to revisit it to back up your points, but after rewatching it, I think Romo was pretty solid on the last drive.

He wasn't perfect, but he did a solid job and should have came away with a game winning drive despite Barber wasting a majority of the clock.

I disagree that Romo wasn't a good big game QB as his playoff efficiency is quite close to Eli's who will likely get into the hall of fame mostly because of his playoff performance, but that is your prerogative.

The main point is that despite playing in a more QB friendly time period than Romo did, Dak's efficiency is worse.

Game winning drives does not prove you aren’t a choke artist lol.

They prove it more than “Durr…Romo and Dak have the same playoff records.”
No it doesn’t. The fact that Romo is on 2-4 in a full career tells it all. Dak is 30 and is 2-5…Romo retired at 34? 35? And he only played in 6 playoff games? Burrow is 5-2 and he didn’t even make the playoffs this year and the other year he got hurt lol. Burrow has played in 7 playoff games and Romo ended his career with 6 and y’all don’t see that as a issue?
