It is a fact that QBs in this league get more than their fair share of blame and praise. Just a fact of life. The QB of the Dallas Cowboys is often a celebrity anyway.
There are times Romo make miraculous plays. There are times no one who knows an ounce of football doesn't understand what the hell was he thinking. Throwing the ball into tight spots is not the same as throwing into triple coverage with no hope of your guy making a play. Tony does it some times.
Dropping the ball on a try for a FG was not his fault. One of the very few times I think we got taken. Picking a fumbled ball up in the end zone is also not a bad play. Trying to throw the ball out and make a play before even looking to see who was on him was a terrible play. A safety is better than giving up a TD.
When Tony learns to give it up and when he can be Superman and can't then he'll have taken a step towards greatness. He also needs to learn to trust the team more. He has a team around him now. He doesn't have to do it all.
The redzone stuff will get better. He'll protect the ball better and Jason Garrett will start trusting the running game more. I'm hoping Felix Jones around the endzone will be a thing of beauty.
very well said.
