ESPN: Colombo resigns with the Cowboys

Now I am happy about the Davis signing as it makes the line a team strength and not a weakness. Shore up the FS spot and this team has no glaring holes.

Long term a young dynamic playmaker at RB or WR would put some real zip in the offense. Another CB and pass rusher, NG and Dallas should be set if Romo pans out.

Im a big believer that consistency is almost as important, if not more, than raw talent when it comes to the OL, and the Cowboys are looking good with four out of five starters under thirty years of age and locked up until at least 2010. If people think the salaries are outrageous this year, wait until two years from now.

What a great way to start a weekend....That makes my day. :lmao2:

question for Adam:

will the re-signing of Colombo count as an 'addition', in terms of compensatory picks?

No, re-signing your own players doesn't count in the equation.

Okay, we're six for six on offseason, predraft needs: resign Columbo, Gurode, Gramatica, McBriar and sign a backup QB and a RG. Damn. That's pretty efficient.

Now bring on the draft.

only one player broke the bank, but we have the cap space to take the hit, this is exactly the offseason so far Jerry Jones envisioned

And we have all 10 of our draft picks! That is awesome!

The Boyz might get two or three solid players and some very nice young prospects!

This is "looking good"!!

so can you stop shouting now?:

I promise to be in a better mood for one day at least....:laugh2:

I am wondering if it would not be better to move Kosier to RG and play Davis at LG; the Hotel and he would tilt the field!!! Also would make sense because then you would have a quick side on the Right and the BIGG side on the left.

it's because the left-side is where the pulling is going to be taken place, and the right-side is for mauling

No, it needs to be balanced out between the guards and tackles, that way other team don't know what the hell is coming next!

I don't believe the knuckleheads that would prefer Larry Allen to Kosier.
