I would think they would want him back in the lineup as soon as he has served suspension.
This is probably close to the plan the Cowboys have.
And after a four-week hiatus from Valley Ranch, folks think he's going to show up in perfect shape, ready to go mentally, and dominate through the rest of the season, playoffs, and Super Bowl, with nary another incident throughout.
Unfortunately this is probably closer to the truth.

I have no expectations from this guy. He's a flake, he's totally unreliable, and is more than likely a waste of time at this point. If he doesn't want to carry himself like a professional or be apart of the team, I don't see any reason to stop him from sitting on the couch.

In other news, Bruce Carter is on the verge of losing his starting job to another 4th round rookie. No rueing necessary for the loss of Carter apparently.

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were back on the practice field Monday after their 26-16 loss in the preseason opener at Minnesota Saturday night. Even though it was just the first preseason game, the Bucs definitely showed they still have a lot of work to do.

So a change has been made, at least for the time being. Rookie Kwon Alexander was taking reps with the first-team defense Monday afternoon while Bruce Carter was demoted to the second-team."
